Watching the city from the distance, the man glanced at a passing broken tv with an unbothered look.  They had been here before, many times in fact, however this time was not like the last.  They were for someone.

With a single bow of their head, they swiftly transformed into a crow.  Carefully and quietly passing into the city from the outer wall....

Accidentally decided to make a 4 page, 12 panel comic for this one ask I am replying to so I do apologize for not posting!

“Memory of the Past”

(Part 2 out of 2)

(Previous) Thin Man: Stares down at the young boy, Mono, with a hint of regret...knowing what is to come. “Mono..” his voice crackling a bit like static, “Don’t you dare come for her...”

Mono: With pain emitting from his left side and with his right fist on the road, he stares down the Thin Man with bitterness. “I don’t care what you say, I’m done running from this crap..”

And with that, light began to emit around him, washing the paper bag away for good...

Upon having the paper bag with the two eye-hole cut outs in front of him, he carefully scooped up the small thing into his hands.  A silent gasp came from the Thin Man as he could not believe it nor what he was seeing as well as holding.  This person found the hat after 44 years (Thin Man is 55) after loosing it in the battle with the previous Thin Man. 

Slowly and surely, tears began to trickle out like rain.  His head shaking as silent, bitter-sweet memories flooded back from the past...

“Night Tour in the Office”

Thin Man: Notices your figure outside of the door through the glass reflection.  With an immediate rush, bolts to the door and carefully opens it.  “Oh Anon, this is a surprise.  What brings you here?” 

Anon: States that they haven’t been given a tour of his office before the Tower took hold of the city.

Thin Man: “I see...  I do apologize that I have not shown off what my office is...  Please!  Head on in.”  The door is pushed inside, letting Anon in, but closes softly once let go of upon Anon stepping into the center of the room.  “This is what the front and back of the room look like, though I am hoping to get some new blinds...one is currently working, hence why it is dark.”

Thin Man: Points to the two sides of the room, “The right side is a pin board that has pictures of what I did gather as my time as an lead investigator.  The left side has a chalk board with a few things I was trying to pair up with after seeing a few sightings of the Ferryman, Roger, and someone else I cannot remember...”

Thin Man: He pauses before snapping back to reality, “Ah, yes, anyway, there are still some cookies in the jar near the door.  Feel free to wander around little one.  I’m just going to finish a report I wanted to file.”  With that said he heads back over to his desk, grabbing a pen out from behind the ear and focusing on the report once more.

Admin Mykala:  These two major images tie into the next ask that the Thin Man (Mono) has, so I hope this helps a bit with visualizing what his office space looks like!!

Thin Man: “I do apologize that it is taking a bit to get back with the last ask box question I currently have, but can I ask why you all were searching for my younger self...?”

Thin Man:    At first is very surprised by the hug, but upon hearing what the Anon said, he wrapped his arms around the person gently as tears trickled down the cheeks.  “It...it is alright,” the man states with a cracked voice, “thank you...”

Change Log for the Ask Blog of “Detective Thin Man”:

Added in music (has 8 pieces of music from Little Nightmares, a few of them being hidden within the game log files that did not come out on the official playlist)

The music is at the top of the page when you load it in, has three crows in a triangle formation that act as the “play & pause” button.  The playlist can be seen on the top right-hand side by clicking on the 3 grey bars.

Added in Main Characters from the Little Nightmares universe as well as a few OC’s for this blog

“Rabbit Season”

Thin Man: “I have, but it was actually Roger the Rabbit that went missing.  The date was a Thursday if I remember correctly, about 10 years ago.  Bob Hoskins, his friend, came up to me asking if I could solve the case.  So I did and I looked for nearly 3 years with him by my side.  Sadly I had to state to him that Roger’s last wereabouts were at the river’s mouth.  I don’t know if Roger survived, but I had to leave the case cold....”

Hunter: “F***ING FINALLY! I got the little stinker-”

Thin Man’s Delivery

Thin Man: “Let me see where the critter is at-” Sees this pop up (above)  “Oh Charley, I think I got your ad-”

Thin Man: Is now knocked out cold

TV: Blares with flashing LED lights reading:“DELIVERY ARRIVED”

(I accidentally sketched the Thin Man older (Signal Tower did not lure him in), probably around his mid 60′s, but it was too cute to erase so hope you all enjoy-)

Hunend: Currently painting an outline of a music box they drew

Thin Man: Sees that the office light is on and carefully walks in.  Once inside the room he notices a nome on one of the tables and walks over with a bounce in his step, “Oh Hunend!  I didn’t expect you to be in my office today.  You enjoying the new brushes and paint I got a couple days ago?”

Hunend: Happy noises emit from their throat while their head tilted up with glee

Thin Man: “Well I am very pleased to hear!  You are doing great on the drawing if I do say so, continue at it my friend.  Let me know what you need and I shall come back over, okay?”

Hunend: Nods their head up and down as if to say “Yes I will do so, Mr. Thin Man, thank you!”

Just popping in!

(Admin) Mykala: “To the two ask box questions that are currently in my feed, I will get back to them later this week!  They will both be pushed out around the same time (since they go hand and hand with one another).  Reason being is that I am currently preparing for my 8th midterm exam (in college)!  So I do apologize if it seems like the feed (and ask blog) is slow at the moment!”

Also as an apology, here are some quick doodles I did as extras while trying to design this ask blog a bit more!  Hope you all enjoy it!!

Admin Mykala: “You doing ok...?”

Thin Man (Mono): “No...” Holds a glass with the cocktail drink inside called “Whisky Sour”

(Unknown Named Gnome): Peers over Mykala’s arm and bicep, putting their arms behind their back while on their tiptoes.

(Gnome from earlier ask): “Gonna try and cheer up sad man!!!”  Dashing through the crack in the wall and heads over to Mr. Thin Man.

Why go by “Thin Man”? We all know who you used to be...

Thin Man: Leans back a little on my feet while gazing a bit at the chalk board, “Sounds a bit crazy, but that’s what the white little creatures, gnomes, called me.  Since then,  I’ve actually enjoyed being called that name.  It’s an interesting one, but, it is a fresh start...”

Gnome: Slowly peers into the office of Mr. Thin Man (Mono), carefully watching the person’s actions.  But after a little bit, upon hearing the man’s words, it quietly left...heading down the hallway and through the crack in the wall.
