Opinion: Season one Demogorgon would have demolished season five Demogorgon. Watching the absolute nerfing they took in season five was a study in self inflicted suffering .

Headcannon(that may or may not be cannon because I am lazy and will not bother to check): Demogorgons are not harmed by high speed projectiles like guns or blunt force weapons. Their skin acts similar to Non-Newtonian fluid and becomes bullet proof to the small but powerful impacts. Sharp objects that cut cause more damage and are more effective.

Opinion: Season one is the best season

Opinion: Season two (for all that the Eleven and Eight plot line sucked ass) gave us the duo of Steve and Dustin so it holds a special place in my heart.

Opinion: Season five had mouthpieces for the plot instead of compelling characters or a story. Season five sits in my soul as a poorly written fanfiction that couldn’t get off the ground without AI to help it.

Season one: Beginning of the end

Opinion: I actually liked the breakup scene in season five ( but that might just be because I’m a lonely asexual/aromatic who doesn’t care for romance in my media)
