Fault! Gigan
“Why do you wanna know, eh? Tryin’ t’ get some vital info, eh, chrom-y? Well, ya won’t get any that’ll service ya or ya little ape men masters, so ya might as well stop barkin’ up this tree. Gyeh gyeh gyeh!” Gigan cackles, before he goes back to thinking. “Mmmmmm... I guess I do miss m’ golden scales, even if my new chassis right now is good enough on it’s own; Gives me a bit of a Royal feelin’, ya know?”
"Not... exactly..."
Hmm, so there was a genetically/mechanically enhanced Gigan on Earth now. How absolutely fascinating. MG -must- get itself familiar with this creature.
"Meeting new Kaiju is always great. I was merely interested in how you were doing. If aesthetics are of worry, then I suppose you are doing...okay."
...
"Sorry, I should not assume. The transformation procedure, was it... painful? Or even done willingly?"
Maybe a bit too personal with somebody it had just about talked with for 2 minutes.
"Reiwa! How have you been, my favorite lizard?"
“Ah, welcome to my domain once again. Naturally the territory is protected, haven’t been any significant threats running around recently and there haven’t been random flocks of birds appearing out of nowhere recently. So I would in fact say I’m quite well.”
"That is excellent to hear, glad you are doing OK."
"Hmm, birds can be rather wonderful for wildlife observations but also a real pest. Especially when they -ahem- poop everywhere. In order to give them a real scare I can play calls from predatory birds such as hawks and eagles. That usually gets rid of any nasty flocks for a while."
"No new significantly powerful Kaiju have strolled onto your territory? sounds good. Any new friendly ones, though?"
One firey eye opened at the sound of a familiar, metallic voice. It beheld the visage of Gojiras robotic counterpart, a bit of atomic flame puffing from flared nostrils as he’d respond simply.
“Well enough. Could always use more sleep though.”
Mothra above knows with his subjects he only got his eight hours once every blue moon.
@deus-ex-machiina
"Ah, that is... fair I do suppose. Better than a bleak and boring world with nothing to do... no excitement."
The mechanical sauroid reveals from behind its back a large train wagon. Firmly holding the human construct within its claws, MG rips open the top like a tin can. Out comes the stench of salmon, freshly caught from the clearest, cleanest lakes. And there was a lot of it.
"If this planet is your kingdom and I am allowed to reside within, it is only fair I pay reasonable tribute. I am not sure what kind of food you prefer... thought I assume one can not go wrong with fish."
MG offers the container with fish to Godzilla, hoping that it will be well-received.
"Apologies I took a while..."
@deus-ex-machiina
Cont. from [x]
It had read much about the insect protector. She was cherished by some humans as the natural guardian of Earth, and usually seen as some of the few /good/ kaiju that walked this planet. Wether this was true or not, it did not know. Yet. So far MG was just glad she returned its friendly welcome in kind.
The massive creature was a sight -light- to behold. Her appearance as a brilliant moth-esque creature clashed gravely with its own UN-NaturaL construction.
KONTRAST
MG’s faux mouth opened and closed as it began to talk, revealing it’s space-titanium teeth.
“People seem to call me ‘Showa Mechagodzilla’, presumably because I set foot on Earth during the Japanese Shōwa era. But most just call me the latter half, Mechagodzilla.”
“I was created by a space-faring species some time ago, using the gojira species as a base. That is why I resemble the iconic monsters quite a bit. Guess they named me after a rather famous one.”
“You are Mothra, correct? I do not believe we have met before. I never saw you during my battles earlier activity on Earth. It is awesome I finally get to see you in person. Hopefully my presence has not been alarming?”
{{How curious. Who are these space-faring species?}} Mothra examined the being before her. He certainly resembled her Sea, but his nature was far more akin to other mechanical species she’s encountered throughout her travels. She wondered if he was made by the Quintessons. She wouldn’t be surprised if those colonizers started to build sentient machines.
{{Indeed. Mothra is the name humans have given me. I had been dormant for thousands of years prior to my recent waking. That must be why you did not see me.}} She had been preoccupied with other universes, and the disappearance of her shobijin left her ignorant of what went on in this world.
{{Oh no, you do not alarm me, my dear. I do not base my opinion on one’s appearance.}}
"That is kind of you Mothra. I too try not to judge someone by their exterior."
It are the insides that matter. Heh... a huge cliche, but perhaps one more people should follow.
The machine interlocked its silver claws and slowly rotated them.
"My constructors are the Black Hole 3 Aliens, or Simians as they are sometimes called. A race of sapient primates that call several solar systems their home. In their expansionism they attempted to conquer this one, Sol, too."
It released a short chuckle but swallowed it immediately. Lots of memories from a bygone era flashing by.
"That did not really work out. Lots of people died. I used to travel with a fleet from system to system...."
"....Alas, without their support... I am stuck here."
A huge wasted potential...
It looked down to observe the environment, beautiful nature. At least it was a pretty place, not some desert wasteland or city-planet.
"What about you... why are you here?"
"Are you aware people draw lots of floofy art of you and publish it on the world wide web?"
{{Is that so?}} Mothra chittered in amusement. {{I hope they captured the fullness of my voluminous fluff.}}
"Ah, I certainly think so. They express their intrest in earth's giant monsters through various forms of art."
"This can be through drawings like I said already, but also animation, wonderful toys and writing, music. I even saw Kaiji-Mothra themed foods like cookies. People draw me aswel, is that not cool? Same goes for Godzilla. Well, any Kaiju really, even ones humans completely made up by themselves."
deus-ex-machiina:
He did not specify it was a bad joke…
“It is unfortunate that my attempt at humouring you has failed to impress. I never mean to be a waste of your precious time.”
“Perhaps you can enlighten me as to what activities you would find enjoyable?”
❝ I’m particularly fond of murder. Perhaps you’d care to indulge in that? I am certain I can find a weakness in you. I do have a few….unique set of guns. ❞ Maybe now is a good time to start running. ❝ But somehow I do not think that will be up your ally. ❞
Fascinating, this man was talking about killing and fighting each other like it was everyday business. Well, this used to be the case for the machine. It suppose it could... relate.
“That is the golden ticket, is it not? to reveal your opponent’s weaknesses and shadow your own. A gruesome fight to the death would certainly be exhilarating, but alas- I will have to decline.”
“You see, I have become rather found of this planet and its inhabitants. I also generally like humans as individuals, though not as a whole. Regardless, lifting half a country in our wake would not put me at good terms with both Humans and Titans. The amount of collateral damage would be worrisome.”
“Perhaps if I had the supplies and support for travel to a solar system I have already abolished, we could end our days there on a resource-stripped planet. Does such an outlook entertain your imagination?”
got a voice claim for your muse?
It SINGS - soft beats encompass the valley.
@deus-ex-machiina said: “The past, present and future walked into a bar. It was tense.”
❝ I hope you don’t plan to waste my time with more jokes. ❞
He did not specify it was a bad joke...
“It is unfortunate that my attempt at humouring you has failed to impress. I never mean to be a waste of your precious time.”
“Perhaps you can enlighten me as to what activities you would find enjoyable?”
"Reiwa Godzilla, would you mind if I remained at your island for a short while? For no reason in particular."
Goji would ponder over this for a moment before nodding in agreement.
“For now, I see no trouble to hosting you on my island.”
“I am grateful for your permission to stay here for the time being.” MG responded in kind.
“Truth be told, I have never been on a single planet for this long. Normally I would be send from solar system to solar system together with an escort. I never expected to say this, but the place has grown on me. The environment, art, its inhabitants… be native or exotic.”
“Why don’t you show me around a bit? would love to see what you have made of this place.”
“Why of course, I’d be willing to show you around.”
The lizard pitched forward, somewhat lifted in his spirits by hearing MG’s statement. Indeed this world was most idyllic for their Kaiju kind, whether be from Earth itself or from distant planets light years away.
“This island here is just the beginning, just my little slice of a bigger picture if you will.”
“How excellent of you Reiwa! I wish I would have thought of getting an island for myself sooner.” Good things come to those who wait.
The large robot followed behind Godzilla in anticipation. “Does this island have any large freshwater systems? preferably a lake. Unfortinately the salt water in oceans and seas is detrimental to my structural integrity. So I never really had a chance to cleanse myself. Both inside and out.”
Bigger picture? interesting. MG scratched its chin and inquired: “And what mightly plans, pray tell, have you got for this place?”
Rough Awakening - Closed
If it was not mistaken, this was the place from all those years ago. It could even see the small mountain it toppled during the battle, ha! As it got closer to the site, short moments of that faithful day projected themselves on its graphic memory. Strange, it was not actively recalling those recordings.
The robot descended from the skies and landed at the shoreline, feet leaving massive imprints in the sand. As it was making its way towards solid land, flashes continued to pierce its visual memory. Eventually they became impossible to ignore and the robot stopped, grabbed its head, and released a m̖e̞͇̙c̪͈͇̜̖͔ͅh̝̮͈an̗̟͈̘͔i͔͙̜̱̙c͓͍͓al̥̯͈̗̖ ̺ s̸c̢re̶e͢c͠h.
"S̅ͤ̋ͭ-̈́͂́̍̿T̋ͣ͒̒͐̎̚-ͧ̃̏O-̽̔͋ͭP̂ͥ͒"
....Everything went back to normal....
What was it here for again? Oh yeah, King Caesar. Hopefully The guardian was here, maybe somebody activated him already? with all the aliens popping up Earth could use some extra brawl.
Maybe singing his song would entice a reaction?

This Gojira was big, both in height and width it was more massive than the (relative) petite Godzilla MG fought all those years ago.
More fatter than taller.
This specimen would prove hard to fight, with it sheer size and mass it could crush the robot. But he (or she?) also ought to be slower than the gojira from decades ago. With the extensive long-range arsenal at the mechanical sauroid’s disposal, this-
Mecha G snapped out of its tactical analysis as Godzilla approached. Thankfully he appears to have ceased channeling energy towards his spines. But the robot still felt uncomfortable with such a large, unknown being in close proximity.
It was not sure what to do, not having any kind of animalistic instincts on how to deal with territorial disputes…
A low grumble releases from its metal innards, trying to signal Godzilla to either back off or not come any closer. Unless he desired a nice volley of rockets against his face at point-blank range.
MG’s feign eyes pierced those of the organic kopie. But in an uncharacteristic display, angled its head and used a claw to scratch its iron chin.
“Affirmative, several decades ago when I set foot on this earth. Humans like to name individual gojira, this one was dubbed ‘Showa Godzilla’”
“Unfortunately our battle was the last recorded one of this individual. It was never seen after that. It would be an other 10 years before a gojira surfaced again. And that one was clearly… different.”
“I am not a genealogists by trade, but I could try. Unfortunately I not tell wether you two have family relations just by visuals. I would need a… blood sample.”
The words several decades ago pierced his heart, causing Goji to inhale slightly and wince. He had been asleep for a while, but if there was one story he had heard from humans, it was that there was a Gojira who had been annihilated by a weapon that was very similar to the one used against him- the Oxygen Destroyer. Perhaps this Gojira the mechanical impostor was talking about was that very same one?
“There is no need for that, you have told me everything I needed to know. For that, I thank you.” He kept his tone polite and formal, not wishing to start a fight with MechaGodzilla for the time being. “Although I must admit, I am fairly curious.”
He would mirror the Mechas head tilt, angling his head in the opposite direction as he once again sized the other up. There didn’t seem to be a single sign of organics present in this strange mecha, and it didn’t seem to be of an Earth design…
“Would you tell me more about yourself? I must admit I am curious. You see, outside of King Ghidorah, I have not encountered any other real alien life; much less non-hostile alien life.”
That is a shame-”Very well.”
It wonders if this ‘MONARCH’ held bloodsamples of Kaiju in cryopreservation. Plotting the Gojira family tree from this planet may yield... interesting results.
Some humans -the weird ones that appear like Kaiju- may think the mirror display was kinda cute. For MG this organic behemoth was still too close, but it figured ‘Big G’ wouldn’t step down.
Better not anger him.
“Hmm, you have not? I talked with several in my time here, really fascinating.”
“More about me? well, it is a long story that encompasses several major battles. You see, my purpose was a weapon of mass-destruction. I was designed to aid my creators in expanding their territory. This meant setting up remote outposts in space and taking over solar systems.”
“Solar systems were chosen based on their tactical location and amount of rare resources. This particular one was important due to its gas giants and water in a liquid state. The aforementioned being quite rare, and requires much less resources to transport than in its gas or solid form.”
“Ah, sorry, went off-trail there a bit. Needless to say Earth’s occupation did not go as planned. Without the support and resources from my creators -who have fled- I am incapable of reaching escape velocity, let alone leaving this solar system at any meaningful acceleration.” “In layman's terms, I am stuck here.”
MechaGodzilla spun its space-titanium claws and droned: “Now your turn, where did you come from”
Didn’t mean any harm? Gojira didn’t know if he could believe that for right now, but he’d allow that faint glow on his spines to fade away as he disarmed himself. This ‘Mechagodzilla’ didn’t seem to be showing any signs of attacking, so he’d return the favor as he stepped closer, sizing the other up. A bit of arrogance from his part- if the mecha reached out and tried to grab him, Goji knew he could very easily blast it to smithereens (or at least, he thought he could) before anything could happen.
“Wait- you fought another Titanus Gojira?” That statement caught Gojis attention, his gaze snapping onto MechaGodzilla and those unblinking sensors again. He never recalled hearing anything about one of his children fighting a mechanical doppleganger… “Who? Was it one of my children?”
He’d practically demand to know at that point, thinking that perhaps this one would know where his children were. He had been asleep for so long, that he never really knew where they had ended up at, where his children had gone…
