Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree was released a year ago.
This DLC was what finally got me into Elden Ring. Can't even fathom to describe the artistic impact this game had on me, one of my biggest inspirations so far. Here are some selected artworks on the occasion!

Wowowow wow
“Miquella awaits his promised consort”
Shout out to Elden Ring
Malenia: get thine arse to the Haligtree wedding's next week
Radahn: new phone who dis
Malenia: Radahn I'm standing right here
Radahn: I uh. Have important Space Business. Mgiht take a couple centuries.
Malenia: don't make me waterfowl at thee
Idk how many people pointed this out, but it's weird how Malenia goes from "thee" when talking to Radahn to "you" when talking to the Tarnished, without any understandable reason.
Like, "thou" is the informal "you" in Old English, if I recall, before being switched around to the formal "you" (I think because of the Bible??). Yet in Elden Ring and all Soulsborne games as far as I know, people just use "thou" as a form of fancy speech to anyone.
Malenia is the only one who switched it. Maybe you could argue that she would use "thou" as a formal "you", out of respect? In that case, I think she would use it to address the Tarnished when defeated, cause like, they're the only person to have ever defeated her.
Maybe it's an oversight? Maybe the bloom affected her brain somehow and she forgot she used that? Maybe she stopped caring? Idk. It's just an interesting thought.
she uses thou because Radahn is her brother and you because we're a random stranger? maybe?
but then Miquella uses you with everyone
Morgott exclusively uses thou but Mohg uses you so it's not a generational / language evolution thing either
Florissax, who is much older than most bosses who talk to us, uses you
maybe thou is just for when you're feeling Dramatic(TM) in FromSoft games
Shakespeare characters do sometimes switch around between the two even with the same person so it could be just a "whatever I feel like using at the moment"
Certainly feels like it is.
Godfrey and Morgott might be my favourite examples cause damn, those two have some fire lines. 🔥🔥
