Blake and Yang’s reunion
Fall from grace
Could Lucifer be the statue shown in the last page of chapter 135?
(Not a perfect replica due to different pose, but the overall look is similar enough.)
It’s fitting as he’s a demon who used to be an angel before he was banished to Hell. Our!Ciel was once a nice, sweet kid born in a rich, loving family until he was kidnapped and reduced into a plaything in a cult. The twins’ lives basically fell from Heaven to Hell in an instant.
After our!Ciel condemned God, it was as if the Devil himself smiled and sent a demon to lure him further into the darkness…
I love Yana’s symbolism.
Yes, it is logical that the statue must represent Lucifer.
I think that this real statue was used as a reference, but I haven’t found its name or where it is located. It doesn’t matter, most probably.
Searching the image I found the same one with tags like ‘female angel’, ‘cemetery statue’, ‘guardian angel’, but I too was unable to confirm anything about its location with any certainty. So while it’s doubtful the original statue was meant to be Lucifer, it’s definitely logical to think that a cult which intends to summon the devil would also venerate his likeness.
I was really hoping the statue’s origin would hold some significance to the story, but seems it is just a random photo Yana used for inspiration. In any case, @glacierspirit it’s pretty cool that you were able to find it!
@btooonomatopoeia, thank you! I was told that the original statue probably is Gabriel, since he is traditionally portrayed holding a lily (representing the Theotokos):
There’s only one Big Brother
Spoilers for latest chapters below.
So back when chapter 126 was released I was concerned that not only Soma but also other Funtom Five members are in danger. Back then it appeared that Blavat sent assansins after those who helped Ciel uncover truth about Sphere Music Hall. But later chapters came and nothing indicating something like that happened. Edward was shown being fine, so I think other boys are save too back in Weston.
Soma and Agni were attacked by two people. One had gun, other had knives. While identity of knive guy remais mystery, I think it is save to assume that person with gun was Lord Sirius a. k. a. RealCiel.
Evidence for that was already pointed many, many times so I won’t talk about them all here. Thing I wanna focus on here is RC’s motive.
This whole attack at first sight doesn’t look like related to Blavat and his scheme. It looks more… personal.
Everybody assumed that RealCiel’s wants revenge because OurCiel sacrificed his soul and took his name and title. This is the case but not the only one as it is shown in OC’s childhood flasbacks.
When Phantomhive Twins where just 2 Ciel Theory some people thought that OurCiel was negleted and treated poorly, not like his brother who was going to be earl someday. OC’s flashbacks however are showing us that it was not the case. Both Rachel and Vincent treated their sons with the same amout of love. Tanaka too. And RealCiel wasn’t jerk to his brother. Heck, it was quite the opposite. He loved him and cared for so much…
… that even simple thought of being apart from him for long was his greatest fear.
Many fans are now saying that RC is yandere because he appears to be quite obsessed with his brother. He likes being OC’s older brother, caring for him and having him around.
Newest, 132th chapter goes even deeper into that, showing that RC’s brotherly love goes into the point when it becomes unhealthy. I don’t want to spoil very much so I’ll tell only this: when OC reveals to RC his plans for future when he’ll go his own way as everybody are telling him, RC is very, VERY upset.
Well. At first sight it seems to be normal reaction of a little boy scared of being separated from his dearest brother, but I told you RC’s sibling love is strange.
He not only thinks about OurCiel like about poor little brother he needs take care of, he also seems to treat him like his own precious possesion that he doesn’t want to be taken away from him.
And yet it happened. They were separated earlier than anyone thought. With RealCiel gone, OurCiel became the heir of Phantomhive and someone else decided to take role of his older brother…
It was Soma.
At this point of the manga it’s not clear how revived RealCiel knows about Soma relationship with OurCiel. Maybe someone told him. Wanting to get his little brother back he decided to ged rid of “fake brother”.
But then, why he and other assasin stopped after turning Agni into knife block? Maybe RealCiel thought that is anough for sending OurCiel message about his return and that from now on he’ll be his only older brother that will never leave his side.
But now it’s all just my little theory.
I’m sorry for my English.

Kuroshitsuji Scenery Pt 1
Yana Toboso pays so much attention to small details in her manga which always amazes me. For example, the scenery is often very accurate to how it looks in reality or in historical documents (newspapers, drawings, photos,…). I’ve made a post about some scenes just recently but there are many more of them. So in this post series I want to collect all these scenes from the manga. Please correct me if I’m wrong about something or if I missed a scene. :)
Here’s part 1: chapters 1-11 (other parts will follow over the next weeks; you’ll find all parts here after I’ve posted them).
Ch 6: Fleet Street, London
Ch 6: Buck’s Row, London (Jack the Ripper murder scene; victim: Mary Ann Nichols)
Ch 8: Hanbury Street, London (Jack the Ripper murder scene; victim: Annie Chapman)
Ch 9: Miller’s Court, London (Jack the Ripper murder scene; victim: Mary Jane Kelly)
Ch 10: A gothic church (where Vincent and Rachel married; I’m not sure which church it is exactly but it could be the Church of Christ the King in Bloomsbury, London, for example)
Ch 11: St Augustine’s Church, Kilburn, London (not sure about whether it’s the right church for this one, either)
Kuroshitsuji Scenery Pt 2
Part 2: Chapters 12-23 (all parts can be found here when they’re posted)
Ch 14: Big Ben, London
Ch 15: West India Docks, London
Ch 19: Crystal Palace, London

I really loved this picture of Ciel and Sebastian and I wanted to color it! I did three edits: one with the frame in the background, one with no background and one png without the background.
