The demon was unprepared, they had guessed she had fire powers but the attack that came succeeded in stunning the attacking demon and knocking him square on his ass. 

“Pathetic!” “Hit by a human disgraceful!” came the jeers of his companions. 

“You brainless bastards seem to have no space for memories left in your lousy heads! This is my true form!” Akira grabs the Rat by his wrists and twisting breaks them, but his foot is grabbed by it’s tail and he’s tossed forcefully at Solar Flare herself.

“giving away our secrets Devilman? Do you think the costumed human could even tell the difference between us if you showed her what you really look like!” A rat like demon taunts as it charges Akira claws out. 

“And you human, just because you have powers do you think it moves you up any on the food chain? It doesn’t at all!” A platypus like demon adds as it lunges at Sandy beak first.

Giant demons in the middle of the city were not Solar Flare’s forte, but this guy seemed to know what he was doing.

“The spawns of hell are the traditional enemies of Devilman. Even thousands of miles from home they’ve come to screw around with me!” Akira replies gritting his teeth at the sight of the demons gathered here. His pulse quickened in anger, he had hoped a vacation in America would be a rest but even here demons sought to attack humans. 

“I’ve been fighting these bastards in Japan for a while. All they care about is destruction and causing pain!”
