“There are times like this where I’m happy I don’t sing.” Devon said faintly, due to losing his voice.

“Yes, I do. Now shut it and go practice! I don’t have time for this.”

“But I don’t want to go practice. I want to bother you.”

“Lemme think about it— yeah I’m pretty sure I always make perfect sense.”

“Mmmm, I don’t think so.”

“I always make perfect sense. C’mon Devon!”

“Always?”

“Perhaps. Maybe we can incorporate it near the end. Y’know as a big finish. We wouldn’t want to bring it in too early because then it’d be expected. I want it to be completely different in every show we have to give the audience their own experience with our performances.”

“That makes sense.”

“Yes, you’re getting it! Just a bit more practice and we’ll be good for the next show.”

“Awesome! Am I playing any piano at the next show?”

“Yeah it did.”

“Thank you.”

“It was okay but try it again, Dev. Perhaps with a little bit more edge as you play. Sort of like this.” The blonde runs her fingers across the strings.

“Okay, so like this?” He asked, copying the blonde.

“Did that sound alright?”
