Can someone with more mental energy than my burned out ass give me an analysis on why Blitz loves Stolas? We see so much of their relationship through Stolas’ overly expressive feelings, but especially after Mission Zero, I’m struggling to understand how and why Blitz fell. To be clear, I love this ship and I love them together, I just have a phantom of a thought now that can’t grasp how, why, or when Blitz fell in love. Someone info dump/word vomit on me please.
S1 Ep7. This is the first picture we see in Blitz's phone gallery. He also doesn't have a lot of pictures. His lock screen is everybody in IMP, after this pictures with Stolas it's Millie,Moxxie and him, then one with him and Moxxie founding IMP, then adoption certificate with Loona, then one with Verosika, 2 of him and Fizz(one teenage, one children) and then the one with his mom and sister.
In ep 8 when he fell asleep he mumbled three names: Millie, Moxxie and Stolas.
Also in Truth Seekers he didn't complain about Stolas carrying him princes style (small detail).
And in ep 7, Blitz "wow" comment when he saw Stolas was genuinen admiration. He also stopped spying on M&M when Stolas started talking to him.(Ozzie and Fizz had to ruin the moment though)
Aside that, "Sorry I fucked your husband scene" new pilot version, he said it will be done in 5 minutes, he spent the night and spooned Stolas in his sleep.
I think he always had some interest in Stolas(he remembered Stolas' magic book that get's him to the living world) and chose to sleep with Stolas despite already having the book and Stolas being tied up in the bed. He just didn't let himself feel anything because he didn't believe Stolas and him could be anything really.
I just want Alastor try to kill/manipulate Lucifer. But dear old Lucy just survives by dumb luck or being too dumb, infuriating Alastor to no end. I want Alastor to lose himself and tell Lucy that he is still mad that Lucifer wasn't the one that showed up on the ritual. Lucifer being like "well, you met my wife". And have them compete/hate each other the entire season. Just to decide to fight together at the end and low-key fullfilling each other's emotional needs.
I want them to be closer than best friends, while still bickering and "hating" each other. I want them to be ready to die for each other while also trusting in each other's abilities. But also I don't want them to be lovers. No physical touch other than the occasional tap on the shoulder and really rare hug that Alastor doesn't mind because it's Lucy. I want Lucifer to become Alastor's most important person and Lucifer be ready to choose Alastor over Lilith.
I want to get this deep, meaningful bond beyond romance or attraction.
Rhinedottir being surprised at Istaroth.
My headcanon is that she is surprised at how similar Istaroth sounds to Barbatos. Maybe even remembers her first meeting with Barbatos
Also the wind at the end was Venti listening in being like "Mom, I don't like aunty very much today".
"we need more plus size representation" "we need more lgbtq+ characters" "should been more feminine yet strong female character" y'all can't even handle them
Look at the tags!
Grelle killed herself/themselves because of the stigma. Angelina Dalles was Jack the Ripper, Grelle just joined her. Grelle wouldn't have been a serial killer on their own
My feed during the year: gay gay lesbians, gay, trans
My feed during June: Bridgerton, Titanic, Pride and Prejudice, random 1999 romantic movies
????
Still can't get over the fact that Dahlia went and talked with Sucrose about Albedo and Venti deliberately didn't put up wind currents around them.
After the legless lizard, now I present to you an actual snake. I don't think it's venomous(in my region all venomous snakes have a pattern). It didn't even care that I was really close to it on the pavement next to the grass patch(not seen in the picture).
I think it was sunbathing.
How is Venti and Dahlia even close to Venti and Barbara?
Seriously Tiktok new age fandoms annoy me so much. Don't like a ship? Ignore it, don't create parallels where there aren't any
Dahlia being hyrdo and sword is so fucking funny??? Like for people who are more lore enjoyers let me start by explaining Venti's kit.
Venti is an anemo bow user. But the bow is near useless unless you run crit builds. Venti's real dmg comes from his skill and ult. Venti's skill is a burst of anemo on the enemies knocking them into the air. Held skill pushes Venti himself into the air. Ultimate is a blackhole that sucks small enough mobs into it and can be element swirl infused.
Dahlia the deacon of the church the herald of Barbatos has these abilities. He with his skill can lay down an elemental charge to make enemies fly into the air. (It also looks like a tornado but sure whirlpool that pushes stuff up not down why not 💀) He can also set the skill on himself and lift himself into the air for plunge attacks. (it also makes a shield cause I guess?) So anemo with swirl right? NO wrong it's hydro that doesn't even apply hydro because it's so clearly not meant to be hydro!!
And each time Dahlia attacks he pulls out a book like a catalyst user but this is decoration because again he is a sword user for some reason.
What I'm getting from this is they are both meant to be catalysts, but have another weapon instead
My adult ass trying to ignore the age gap/grooming happening in Shugo Char Jewel Joker because Amu and Ikuto were my biggest when I was 10...
Dahlia sending nuns to chase Rosaria for morning prayers to Barbatos is so funny to me. Minewhile Rosaria actually shares a drink with Venti.
Imagine being the god of freedom and your herlod is trying to force people to pray to you.

I love to remember fondly how fans, pre-Campania arc, used to call Lizzie out for being an annoying and weak little girl, even though we've had evidence of how much of a little reckless rascal she is in the story since basically ch2
^ Like coming to visit Ciel every now and then without telling her mom...
^ Or attending one of Druitt's parties all on her own (we don't see Paula at all), despite Frances canonically strongly disliking Druitt's type xD
The way I see this :
either Frances has to battle every now and then with her 14 year old teenage daughter who constantly leaves home on her own whenever she feels like it,
or Frances 100% trusts her girl and her fencing skills and doesn't care about where Lizzie goes, as long as Lizzie isn't arrested by Scotland Yard or something
Considering other examples like the Campania arc or the start of the Blue Sect arc, or even how Yana describes Lizzie seeing her mom as a role model, I'd strongly bet on the latter.
Last but not least, I think it's very funny that, before the Campania, whenever Ciel asks Liz 'does your mom even know you're here ?!', Liz answering 'nope' implies that 1) Frances doesn't know for sure where her daughter is but 2) is 100% ok when finding out that she is having a sleepover at Ciel's manor.
And also, it's even more hilarious to notice that, after the Campania, Ciel doesn't even bother anymore asking if Frances knows where Liz is (like in ch107), as if to say "yeah okay she can take care of herself, alright".
Meanwhile Ed doesn't have the right to be in a boy's band
I think that many fans got the wrong idea of Lizzie cuz she was constantly portrayed as a damsel in distress, in the first 2 seasons. She got herself kidnapped in S1 then in S2, she was forced to dance with Alois and even though she looked uncomfortable, she couldn't do anything and also she was willing to drown just to find a unicorn or whatever it was, I forgot (like she seemed to get into problematic situations or cause problems and then become the victim which may have given them that idea, including myself as well when I just finished both seasons 😅).
However, manga didn't necessarily portray her as this BIG damsel in distress at all and I was indeed feeling like something's off, at the beginning, when I couldn't find Lizzie being a victim that much in the manga, lol 😆.
@mivolisacb
Thank you but, very respectfully, I think you may be wrong and missing the point, so I'll try to explain differently. :)
You and other readers who aren't enthusiastic about Liz have every right to think her behavior in ch2, which resulted in smashing Ciel's ring, was childish (it was) and annoying (that's up to you). It should however be noted that 1) she had no idea at all what that ring represented (explicitly stated), 2) that she truly regretted to have lost her temper and that our!Ciel himself eventually didn't hold it against her (also explicitly stated).
The fact we have 214 chapters published at this point and that you're mainly using this one instance in a debate about why several Kuroshitsuji fans believe Lizzie is "worthless and annoying" (what my comment was about) is rather slightly narrow-minded, in my opinion, considering many things that happened with her character since ch2.
Additionally, pre-Campania and her "reveal", all of Lizzie's actions have the same goal : trying to cheer Ciel up and be there for him, because he lost his entire family and carries a heavy burden as "Earl Phantomhive". That's how much she loves him. Thinking it's useless/annoying/stupid/etc and leveling her one instance of childish behavior from ch2 against those many (rather mature) examples is rather biased, don't you think ?
And then, there is the part that made me want to answer you in details :
Again, respectfully to you, but on this you are dead wrong. She didn't cling to the idea of "looking pretty" : she was incapacitated by a very deeply-rooted fear, because of what real!Ciel said to her, many years ago (about how strong women are scary and about how he glad he was that Lizzie, whom he didn't know was a fencing prodigy, would be his wife instead).
So I don't know about you personally, but generally the majority of people IRL have lived through this kind of situation at least once in life: hearing a random nasty comment about yourself by someone, which then triggers complexes and issues. And the fear of not belonging, of your very self being rejected, makes it all way bigger than it should need to be. Especially when it comes to women and their appearance, or men and how masculine "they need to be".
Well, Lizzie is the same.
This girl, probably because of the Phantomhive lineage, has been betrothed to real!Ciel since they were very young kids. Her head has been filled with ideas that she and he would "marry and live happily ever after", like their parents were doing at the time. So yeah, hearing real!Ciel hoping that she would become someone she already wasn't triggered a lot of insecurity and self-issues in Lizzie (which in turn created deep resentment in Edward, when it comes to "Ciel").
Most of all, it takes immense courage for Lizzie to finally pick up her swords, thinking "then I choose to be rejected, if I can at least protect you".
But all of this context aside, the fact you'd blame Lizzie for, to quote you, "endangering Ciel's life, her life, and causing the death of several passenger" is exactly why I said people who think like you seem like misogynistic readers to me. If you weren't :
you'd blame UT who orchestrated this massacre from beginning to end,
or you'd mention real!Ciel since he created these issues
or, since real!Ciel is a kid and probably didn't know better, you'd be mad at Ann, a grown up lady, for reinforcing these nasty ideas to Liz (because of her own jealousy issue towards Rachel).
Instead you choose to hold Liz and her self-issues accountable, (which are by the way extremely relevant to her entire dynamic with our!Ciel, because they mirror his own big lie about his chosen identity from 4 years ago), even simplifying it as "stubbornly clinging to her idea of looking pretty". Heck, our!Ciel even apologized for real!Ciel's words, just saying. ;)
Lastly, to be clear, I'm not even trying to change your mind about her character. I know the fandom is full of people who "aren't enthusiastic about Lizzie's character" and it's 100% your right. :)
However, for your own media literacy skills, please don't call it "common sense". As I tried to explain, your opinion of her character is biased and could be labeled as internalized misogyny. And, I don't even care because Lizzie is fictional ! But if you cannot see it with her, you may not see it when it comes to women you interact with IRL and that's a bigger issue.
Again, I meant my explanation to be respectful and I hope it is. I wish you a good day !
