This review is for Midori Spring organic Matcha green tea powder.

Ingredients: 100% Pure organic Matcha green tea powder

Grade: Ceremonial gold class

Region: Japan (mostly Aichi, Kagoshima)

I love green tea but this was my first time trying Matcha powder.  I was not sure what to expect; however, it was actually really good. I have had it for a couple of weeks now. After my first cup I was a little skeptical on whether I liked it or not.

Pros:

Easy to open container

Gluten Free

Simple instructions

Cons:

It has a rich, bitter, almost chalky taste to me.

It is definitely an acquired taste.

Thankfully, Pinerest has many recipes to make the taste better. Also A bit of honey can make a world of a difference. Also it can be use for more than just tea. I have made smoothies, latte's, and there is a cookie recipe I am dying to try. But I suck at baking. I only recommend if you really like trying new things or have a acquired taste for such. Quick Brew Instructions:

1/2 tsp - 3/4 tsp Matcha Powder

60ml - 80ml (2oz-2.7oz) Water

Mix matcha in bowl or cup with water. Whisk till froth appears and enjoy!
