what are your favorite ships in dexter?

I liked Deb and Quinn when they started to build a ship between them. I feel like they matched each other’s personalities well during the seasons they were together.

Dexter and Rita. Iconic. Adorable. The only person that I think Dexter was ever truly in love with.

Dexter and Lumen even though their relationship was short. They fit each other for the timing. She was what Dexter needed at the time.

My favorite seasons + brief explanations as to why…

I would have ranked the seasons I put, but it’s impossible for me to choose.

season one - this was the most intense and interesting first season to a show I’ve ever seen. Every episode just kept getting better and better in my opinion. Everything was explained so in depth and it was extremely interesting to see how everything worked out in the end.

season five - I LOVED this entire season so much. I love seeing a strong female character like Lumen in shows. Seeing Dexter get more and more emotional and figuring out how or if he even experiences love was such a beautiful way to write a season.

season six - the whole concept of this season had me intrigued immediately. (other than the Dexter x Deb plotline. That was weird to me. I didn’t like it AT ALL.) this was probably the most captivating season for me. Seeing Dexter be introduced to concepts that he’s not familiar with and learning from them was amazing.

Debra Morgan is one of the best female fictional characters I’ve ever seen on a show ever.

Opinion on Brian Moser? Personally, can't stand him- the fandom glazes him and he's genuinely a horrible person.

He’s honestly overrated. I know his character was what helped explain the season one storyline, but I think he was in the show for long enough. Enough to get the point across. Thanks for the ask!
