There was a gentleman’s air about him and that seemed all everyone around them saw. It wasn’t all she saw at all. There was a wolf there, a devil in disguise. Though to his credit he looked much less the part than other devils she’s met. A certain dark haired, silver tongued one came to mind, but she tried not to think about Loki if she could help it. Thinking about that maniac with Daddy issues was not good for her mental health for various reasons. Quickly she refocused on the man with whom she was currently and asked her to lead the way and she did.
There was something classic about The Plaza and perhaps that was why she often frequented it when she needed somewhere to be besides her apartment or Stark Tower. Though the city around it held a distinct modern edge, The Plaza never changed. They didn’t question her either when she came and went for to them she was a nomadic business woman who traveled the world and lived out of a suitcase or sometimes merely the clothes on her back.
At the desk she was greeted like an old friend, though not by her true name. Here she was Nancy Rushman and she played the part slipping into it like a glove until they were in the elevator and room key in hand then she became Natasha again.
“So, do you live here in the city?” She inquired, wondering if he’d tell her the truth or not.
Standing but a pace back from Natasha, the pale blue orbs crawled over the smooth surfaces of The Plaza. Dark brows over that gaze as it drank in the light environment, beholding the setting of something...classic. That word was so commonly used for places such as this but it never seemed to hold that taste for Dexus. Things settled differently upon his palette. The years of experiences he held differed greatly from the majority of humankind.
Flicking his gaze up the receptionist, he flashed a crooked and languid smile before following in stride with his red-headed companion. Entering the elevator, he glanced at the button she pressed before stepping back to allow himself to lean against the wall. One graceful hand raised to slide the curtain of strands over his right shoulder, allowing his eyes to be free to meet the other's.
Smiling, he crossed his arms as he replied, "It is the place I do call home, yes. Of course, I presume this city to be your current home as well, though not this hotel..."
