My #Thoughts 💭 Pt.6

Communication is 🔑

One thing I think you NEED in any type of relationship is COMMUNICATION, If your boyfriend or girlfriend doesn’t see you everyday and on top of all that cant even shoot you a text or pick up the phone and call you… then something is wrong, if that person claims they wanna be with you forever and wants things to work, it shouldn’t be hard for them to put that extra 5 - 10 mins aside for you….

I have those friends that talk about being with their guys/girls everyday and all i think is … “ain’t nobody got time for that” lol (no shade) that’s stupid.

I’m the type of guy who doesn’t really need all that, like I like little stuff, and seeing my chick and hanging with her, but I think if you don’t see him or her for a while and THEN get those 4 or 5 hours with them … you cherish it more.

I’m the type of guy who would be happy with my gf just calling me at night before I go to sleep, even if its for like 5 or 10 mins, just to let me know whats going on and stuff. It makes a big difference.

If you notice that you are not communicating with your loved ones as much as you use to, maybe you guys should fix it now.🤷🏾‍♂️

Because I honestly dont see how a relationship (especially one where you dont see each other often) can last a long time or even forever.

Who to choose!?

One person spends their nights partying, clubbing, drinking, dancing, and flirting. Another person spends their nights talking to friends, cooking, reading, and finding ways to better themselves.

Which person do you have a really fun fling with, and which person do you take on for a relationship?

It's not hard... but many people make it hard.

Because they live in scarcity.

Because that fine girl or hot guy they met at the club is the dopest person they've met in months anywhere, and they figure they'll just mold and shape them into the way they want.

Because they refuse to accept that people are the way they are, and there's not a damn thing you can do to change that.

You don't craft a person into what you want. You find a person who is already what you want.

This Annoys People!

You’re having a great time getting to know a guy or a girl, there’s excitement, flirting, cheesing when they message, and perhaps a touch of playing hard to get.

But then the person gets kinda clingy. Perhaps they suggest hanging out two nights in a row, reply to all your messages right away or even... HOLD UP! - tell you they like you. Oh lawd!

And of course, you then suddenly aren’t into them any more. It’s so annoying isn’t it!?

It’s classic though. Many of us like the chase, and once that’s over, we lose interest. And of course, people seem so much more attractive when we think they don’t want us.

This is why we often think it’s worth playing hard to get.

But why does this happen?

If you often get turned off when someone is too into you, it probably comes down to your past issues.

When someone is keen, it’s a sign that the relationship has potential to progress.

Ever freaked out when you’ve been seeing/talking to someone for a few weeks and it actually starts to look like it could turn into something real? Yeah, guilty.

So when you pull away, you’re just protecting yourself from the possibility of being hurt.

But that’s not the only reason being too keen can be a turn-off. It can, of course, just smell of desperation. You don’t want to date someone who is so needy and has so little going on in their life that they cling to you.

It shows maturity when someone is independent, and being too keen can be interpreted as being needy.

Friends may tell you that when you meet the right person, you won't run away when it gets to the point where a relationship might have potential, but is that really true? Or is it actually something you need to get over yourself?

Try not to freak out when someone likes five of your Instagrams, texts you three times in a row snapchats you and posts a selfie on Facebook with you. Because at the end of the day, it’s probably not them, it’s you.

WTF is Love nowadays?

We'd rather spend an hour each with a hundred people than spending a day with one. We believe in having ‘options'. We're ‘social' people. We believe more in meeting people than getting to know them. We're greedy. We want to have everything. We get into relationships at the slightest attraction and step out, the moment we find someone better. We don't want to bring out the best in that one person. We want them to be perfect. We date a lot of people but rarely give any of them a real chance. We're disappointed in everyone.

Technology has brought us closer, so close that it's impossible to breathe. Our physical presence has been replaced by texts, voice messages, snapchats and video calls. We don't feel the need to spend time together anymore. We have too much of each other already. There's nothing left to talk about.

We're a generation of ‘wanderers' who wouldn't stay at one place for too long. Everyone is commitment phobic. We believe we're not meant for relationships. We don't want to settle down. Even the thought of it is scary. We cannot imagine being with one person for the rest of our lives. We walk away. We despise permanence like its some social evil. We like to believe we're ‘different' than the rest. We like to believe we don't conform to social norms.

We're a scared generation... scared to fall in love, scared to commit, scared to get hurt, scared to get our hearts broken etc. We don't allow anyone in, nor do we step out and love anyone unconditionally. We lurk from behind walls we've created ourselves, looking for love and running away the moment we really find it. We suddenly ‘cannot handle it'. We don't want to be vulnerable. We don't want to bare our soul to anyone. We're too guarded.

My #Thoughts 💭Pt.3

You know why we’re all so “afraid of committing?” It’s because you’re afraid the other person is afraid of committing, and you don’t want to be the only one begging.

We’re human. We hate rejection and we don’t like not being on the same page, and we want love to be reciprocated. It’s mortifying and embarrassing to be rejected. People have always needed validation – through writing, sports, art, music – some sort of sign that other people feel and think as you do.

But what do you have to lose? Do you have something left to say to somebody? Do you want to tell the person how you feel but you’re afraid he or she won’t respond? Then you’ve done all you can. At the very least, you’ve gotten everything off your chest and now your thoughts don’t have to eat away at you. If they don’t respond, they weren’t worth your time anyway. The other less-than-ideal scenario is that they reject you or they don’t reciprocate your feelings. It will hurt, but now you can move on – clean and easy. Say what you feel. You literally have nothing to lose whatsoever. Life is way too short to wonder.

I want people to show that they care. I’m sure humans as a whole got fed up with being hurt, so the natural reaction was to shut down. But I think at this point, we’re all fed up with this robot society. I mean, like literally robots are taking the place of humans and there are businesses for cuddling and etc. but that’s another story lol

So phuck this. Phuck timing. Phuck games. Phuck the patriarchy. Phuck texting. I will do what I want because that’s what I’ve always done.

My #Thoughts 💭 Pt.2

I’ve learned that losing urself and finding ur way back is a beautiful experience that anyone could ever go thru. Just enjoying ur own company gives u a brighter chance to rediscover urself again. Giving u a chance to grow, be happy, find peace, live and love again. Try spending a Friday night at Starbucks or catching a movie alone or traveling alone once. Allow urself to do that. Once u do, you’ve taken a “Big Leap” in ur life, conquering being alone. You’ve accomplished “acceptance” which is the next stage in ur life even if it took u weeks, months or years to come to terms of accepting it. Remember every time you do it ur more likely to learn something new about urself. I’ve learned to appreciate solitude & nothing’s more beautiful than spending time with urself & just figuring out life itself. I’m ok with being alone, and I will continue being that way until I’m ready. Which is selfish I know. But put urself at #1 and go for being happy. Don’t be defined by another person, continue to grow and don’t let anyone stop u from growing.🌙… Pt.3 coming soon

My #Thoughts 💭

⭕Even though i’m young, and still have alot to learn, I have experienced and seen many versions of love. Our society is so fixated on it that we focus on giving our love to others through gifts, emotions, even through our whole being. Do you think you do it? Of course you do. Even though you don’t think so sometimes, you still Give people in your life your love. You know what’s funny… Some people give everything that they possibly can to show love for another but sometimes that still isn’t enough. (Or at least it doesn’t serve the purpose you may have meant it for). You give what you believe to be the best thing you could to a person (a symbol of your love), and most of the time you get shitted on. I was thinking about some of the people I’ve came across… There have been people that GIVE gifts money clothes emotions etc… Everything we have been given we all choose to recieve in different ways. If it’s positive, some people are grateful for it all while others don’t even acknowledge your efforts. If it’s negative, even the ones that love you the most can either disregard your negativity as a cry for love; Or the same ones that love you soooo much will constantly remind you of the wrong you’ve done. We try sooo hard to please that we show our true selves or turn into someone that we’d never imagine we’d be. Chasing after someone that doesn’t want us, Putting hope into people that will never change, Playing with people’s hearts, Knowing someone isn’t the one for you but still allow them to believe it, Cheating, Using peoples emotions, Munipulating situations for our favors, Abusing kindness for weakness… Even falling head over heels into complete devestating love… (some never thought that would be an option..) I could go on forever… but I won’t.. Maybe Ima add more soon.. My point is, we do soo much for love that we don’t realize the things we invest and take out of the relationships and friendships because of love… I gotta add more to this, feels like a summary right now.🌙
