she shook her head, over and over. her thoughts were a blur, and she couldnât focus for those first few moments. the other woman, who at first she viewed as a mirage, dropped her weapons â but sherry didnât lower her gun until the blonde spoke. that voice, it was so familiar and soothing â the voice of reason in most instances. it was enough proof for her, until she pulled the locket from her shit â the locket that matched her own. sherryâs was broken, but she kept it hidden away in a safe place. a token to remember her sister by.
as she came to the realization, tears began streaming down her cheeks, but she was frozen in place. dropping her gun at her feet, she quickly moved to pull tina into a strong embrace, almost PROTECTIVELY.    â  I thought you were dead..   â    she held her close for moments on end, refusing to let her go.Â
as she finally pulled away, both of her hands graced the sides of tinaâs face, the pads of her thumbs stroking over her skin.   â   where have you been? why did you come back?   â
@diabctic
   RELIEF rushed over the blonde, she had no idea how SHERRY would take her coming back. Would she be upset that she left in the first place? Would she brush her off? Yell? Cry? All these different scenarios had gone through her head but all the WORRY had washed away when she felt her older sisterâs arms around her.Â
   Her own eyes began to water as she wrapped her arms around SHERRY, holding her as tight as humanly possible. AFRAID that if she were to let goâsheâd just be gone.Â
  âI found another GROUP, had to make sure they were good people first.â She said, she didnât want to lead her sister into a DEATH trap. âTheyâre good people S, I came back here for you, I couldnât stand another day in this place.âShe said, choking back a sob.Â
   âCome with me, please.â

                Smile is given to her and she nods her head. âThat might be a good idea.â Eyes peaked over the edge again before she started walking away from the car, crouched down to stay out of sight. âIâve got a truck, it has a little gas left in it. Enough to get away from the dead. You can come if you want.â Lucy didnât want to make the woman feel like she was forcing her to come along. She didnât know if she had others waiting on her in a nearby location, or if she was on her own. She had stopped to get gas for said truck and had gotten odd track by helping the woman but it was no bother. âItâs just right there.â Said truck was pulled up into the gas station, where Lucy had left it before she had noticed Tina.
   She was ALMOST quick to respond, to say she had to get back to the sanctuary butâwhat was there for her? Her sister had run off, she had no TIES thereâwhat was the point in going back to that hell hole? Working for POINTS and never having enough for what she needed because insulin was âexpensiveâ.Â
   Tina probably should have thought about it, weighed out her options but when had she ever been rational? This woman had offered her KINDNESS and it was something that she hadnât seen in so long, maybe she had a GROUP? Maybe she could offer a better life.Â
   The blonde looked over her shoulder, back to the road that lead to the SANCTUARYâit didnât feel right going back there so she quickly followed LUCY. She moved to get into the passenger side of the truck before turning to face her.Â
   âDo you have a group?â

        She had been taught to help as many as people as she could, when she had been with Addy they would often stop to help out families that were surrounded by walkers, or needed supplies from a crowded building like now. She was here to do good things, she was special, and she was going to help as much as she possibly could.
She peeked over the edge of the car, and the walkers were still roaming around the pharmacy, so they hadnât noticed that they were only outside of it. Lucy would only be able ot protect the woman so much. Was she traveling with someone? Or searching for someone like she was?
She couldnât just move through them undetected, she could feel their feelings, their names, part of their lives. It was a lot more complicated than it looked, but all that mattered is that she was able to help people.
âSomeone must have stashed it there and not been able to get back in and get it.â Lucy gaze fell on the bag before she fixed her own bag on her shoulders. âItâs complicated.â There was a lot to explain about herself and if the walkers saw her theyâd probably attack the young woman. She held out a blue hand to her. âMy nameâs Lucy.â
   TINA quickly took off her backpack, placing the insulin inside. HOWEVER she did it, she was glad that she was able to get in and out quickly, there was no way that Tina would have been able to do that on her own, she would have had to go back for help. It was slim pickings on those that would help her now that her sister had run away.Â
   The blonde extended her hand to shake hers, âTina.â She said, her expression softening slightly when she realized this woman wasnât trouble but instead she was incredibly HELPFUL and just saved her life.Â
   âWe should get outta here.âShe whispered, the walkers getting closer and closer to the car but not SPOTTING her just yet. She wasnât sure if the woman had a group or was on her own, regardless they could talk more away from the small group of walkers that had gathered.Â

        INSULIN. She had heard of that before, that was little bottles of stuff, something to do with sugar balance. Lucy wasnât very well educated in various medical conditions. âTrust me - Iâll be fine okay? Stay here. Try not to cause to much attention - gets them riled up.â She crouched out from behind the car, moving closer to the pharmacy. The door, or what was left of it was gone, but it was the crowd of walkers would stop most people. When she saw the opening to get through them, she walked RIGHT into them, and they just ignored her.
They kept bumping into each other and groaning, like she wasnât there. Eyes scanned around the pharmacy for what the woman needed. Wouldnât it be behind the counter and not on the shelf? While she could make her way through them calmly, she didnât want to rile them up none the less. She made her way to the counter, and slipped over it, and hands moved to search through the remaining things on the shelf.
She dug through boxes, Â and then she found a bag full of the little insulin bottles. Maybe eight, someone had stashed them there and wasnât able to come back for them. Placing the ziplock bag into her own backpack she made her way out of the crowded store, quietly, with careful steps. When she was finally out of the crowd of walkers, she let out a heavy breath and made her way back behind the car.
âThere wasnât a lot, but there was a little bag full of it. Here.â
   TRUST was a funny thing in this world, but she had no reason to NOT trust herâafter all the girl had just dropped her weapon. Worry filled in the pit of her stomach, what if this woman DIED trying to get her insulin? She wouldnât be able to sleep at night knowing she had caused the DEATH of a good person. Good people were a rarity in this world.Â
   Tina listened though, remaining behind the car staying quit as a mouse. She peeked up from under the car to look over the hood and into the pharmacy. Her lips parted slightly, jaw dropping as she saw the woman moving through the walkersâthey didnât even NOTICE her. What the hell?Â
   The blonde couldnât help the stunned expression on her face once the woman returned, she didnât even know what to say, was she DREAMING? Did that just really happen before her eyes? What was her secret? She had far too many QUESTIONS.Â
   âThank you..âShe began to say, FIGURING she should start there. âHow did youâââShe began to ask, her voice trailing off as her eyes met the womanâs. She took the bag, only breaking her gaze to see how much there was, itâd be enough for a few months at leastâmaybe even six months and she was GRATEFUL.Â

   OF COURSE she was afraid to go back, thatâs why it took her all this time. Negan scared the hell out of her, she didnât want to marry him and she couldnât work for points for the rest of her life. STEALING THE INSULIN? That likely would be a death sentence, whether that meant him sending her off or her stuck being a wife. That was no way to live.Â
  She came back though, for SHERRYâfor her sister. It felt like the wind had been knocked out of her when she saw the place in flames, Tina rushed inside hoping not to see her sister among the RUBBLE.Â
  The blonde stopped dead in her tracks when she saw SHERRY who looked like she had just seen a ghost. She quickly dropped her knife, holding up her hands to let her know she didnât want any trouble.Â
   âItâs me SherââShe began to say, pulling the locket tucked away from under her blouse, the one they were given when they were just little kids, hers had a T engraved on the front.Â

   rick wishes he had been AROUND when his son had found this girl, heâs not sure he even TRUSTS her, or what sheâs just told him. heâs not going to let some stranger in on a whim. grimes cocks his head to the side a bit, studying her body language, his time as a cop had granted him with the ability to read people properly.  âherd? yaâ remember how far off?â hearing news of a WALKER HERD is alarming, especially since they had just overcome one not too long ago, which had cost his son his eye.
 âiâm sorry about that.â is all the sympathy he offers, his people would always come before some girl his son had RANDOMLY found in the woods. brows lift, lips curled in a faint frown. rick is quiet for a moment, it wouldnât hurt to give her a few days to recover, heâd talk to the others about letting her become a PERMANENT resident. Â
they already had too many people to feed.  âcarlâs a good kid, got a good heart.â is all rick says, âyou can stay a few days, weâll have denise patch yaâ up, fill yaâ up with some food.â generosity is something he has to be CAREFUL with,  ânameâs rick, rick grimes.â
   DAMMITâshe knew she shouldnât have said herd. A herd would just cause concern so she knew she needed to backtrack and quit screwing up her story, she needed to get these people to trust her. She NEEDED a safe place to stay, a safe place AWAY from Negan and the saviors.Â
   âA couple miles off, it wasnât likeâa huge herd, just...I donât know, maybe thirty or forty or so?â She said, HOPING that this would ease the leaderâs mind. TINA can feel her heart racing in her chest as he seems to be mulling over what to do with her.Â
   A few days, she can sell herself in a few daysâshe just needed to worm her way into these peopleâs hearts and show that she wasnât TROUBLE. Obviously Carl saw something in her, maybe heâd tell the others and convince them to let her stay.Â
   âThank you, I appreciate thatâif thereâs anything I can do to help while Iâm here, just say the wordâI wanna be USEFUL.â She said before extending her hand, âItâs nice to meet ya Rick, Iâm TINA DAVIS.â

       Lucy could make it in and out of the place no problem. There was too many  for her to clear out but she could easily weave through them and not worry about getting bitten, unlike the woman. âWhat do you need?â
There was several things in the pharmacy, but the women didnât look hurt, so she wasnât trying to heal up a wound. She must have a medical condition and was running low on something. Addy had always taught her to help people in need, and if this woman tried to go in there, she wouldnât come out alive.
She wouldnât need her weapon. Blue hand moved to place her shotgun down, and then her gaze went back over to the woman. It wasnât often that people didnât assume she was a zombie or something was seriously wrong due to her skin color.
âI can go in there and get it.â
   KINDNESSâThat wasnât something she had seen in such a long time. Everyone was always out for themselves, and she understood that, really she did. She couldnât help but wonder what this woman would want in return, surely she wasnât just going to risk her LIFE for nothing. She didnât have much choice, she could offer her a GUN or maybe her knife, or maybe she could even take her back to the sanctuary.Â
   âInsulin.â She stated, âEverything theyâve got.â She said. At first sheâd raid Pharmacyâs and only take what she NEEDED but lately the ones she went to were completely wiped CLEAN of insulin. She assumed Negan had taken it all, so sheâd have to work for him FOREVER.Â
   Tinaâs eyes widened slightly as she saw her put the shotgun down, âYou canât go in there ALONE.â She said, that would just be SUICIDE.

                          @diabctic liked for a thing!
       Eyes looked at the building, her hand holding onto her own bag. The pharmacy seemed to be crowded with the dead, and a woman seemed to be hiding, trying to figure out how to get inside. Was she hurt, who else would try to get into a fully crowded pharmacy? Lucy made her way behind the ducked down car, voice a quiet whisper. âAre you trying to get in there?â
   She was FUCKED. She had one insulin pen left, that had enough for a few days, maybe a week if she was LUCKY. Unfortunately, luck never seemed to be on Tinaâs side. She was in the NEGATIVE when it came to points so she had to turn to desperate measures.Â
    The blonde was able to slip away and made it to the pharmacy but it was DIFFICULT locating a way to get inside, the place had walkers roaming inside and bars on the WINDOWS. She couldnât go back empty handed, she needed to find a way.Â
   Tina had been so focused on looking for an entrance that she didnât notice the woman approach her, she FLINCHED slightly hand instinctively resting on the handle of her knife, but not drawing itânot yet anyway.Â
   âYeah, but so far itâs just looking like a SUICIDE mission.âShe sighed.Â

@diabctic + LIKED.
âcarl brought yaâ in while i was AWAY on a run, yaâ wanna tell me where the hell yaâ came from? and why youâre here? if youâre gonna stay, youâre gonna have taâ answer a few questions, ainât sure if bringinâ you in is a DANGER to us all.â she has to understand that heâs looking out for his people, he has nothing against her, his son had been kind enough to bring her inside their walls, but would that be enough to ensure that trouble didnât follow her?
  She understood where the LEADER was coming from, they couldnât just take anyone in so she knew she needed to sell herself. Tina knew better than to tell the man that she had run away from a GROUPââthat would just bring more questions. All she wanted was a SAFE place to rest her head.Â
   Tina shifted the weight of the duffle bag on her shoulder, it contained very few itemsâit mainly contained her insulin, what she needed to SURVIVE. The rest didnât really matter, just a few articles of clothing. She had STOLE the insulin from Negan because she couldnât afford it, she didnât have enough points and she ran away. Thatâs what brought her to the woods where Carl had found her.Â
   âI was with my sister and her husbandâthere was a herd and we got SPLIT up, I was looking for them for a while but never found them.â She said, quiet sigh leaving her lips.Â
   âItâs been a while since Iâve seen another person, then your SON found meâwas grateful for him.â
