Life in the 1950s and early 1960s. As I was doing some research for something I’m working on, I stumbled upon these vintage photos of gas stations and signs of days gone by. Not special days—just life. Kids hanging out. Elderly people washing their car. People being people.

I found them at a site called Curbside Classics, but they’re hosted on a Flickr account by Dave Gelinas, where there are many more.
