Decided to study somewhere other than my room today! ⛅ I have one of my biggest exam tomorrow so I’m a teeny weeny bit nervous. It’s a lot but not too difficult so I think I’ll be ok. + a post about the tote I put all my study necessities in when moving around is coming soon!

How to write your book Step 138

Embrace your failures, they might not be as bad as they seem. 

Failure is a matter of perspective. The only way to fail at writing a book - is to never finish writing it at all… and even then, if you have started, you haven’t completely failed. 

However, there is little more satisfying than finishing a book. Finishing writing a whole book gives an intense sense of accomplishment. Even if the manuscript is terrible, and has to be edited and re-written until it is a completely different book - the triumph is still quite powerful. Do not be discouraged by the idea that you’ll never finish writing your book. Don’t even entertain that thought. The negativity will drown out your book and taint your ability to write it.  

 It doesn’t matter how long it takes, how much time you ‘waste’ staring out a window or drinking coffee, keep writing, don’t back down… this is all part of the process. You’ve got this.
