The time everyone has been waiting for has come. It's been a week since our last Padfoot Fest work was posted which means we can now reveal all the authors, so everyone can run to show even more love for their other works.
As mods, we would like to sincerely thank all the participants. We are immensely grateful to them for creating a great variety of fics, all celebrating our beloved Sirius Black. Remus Lupin does not believe in a god. Certainly that should mean he does not believe in a devil. Yet, when a man who calls himself the Devil makes him an offer he can’t refuse, Remus strikes a bargain.
The Devil promises Remus that he can cure his mother’s terminal cancer. In exchange, Remus must pay in the form of evil deeds. It is a fair trade, he is assured, a mere matter of balance in the universe.
However, when Remus proves to be terrible at evil, the Devil’s son takes pity on him. He decides to aid Remus in his pursuit of evil, albeit in a most unconventional way.

Dear Your Holiness by MollyMaryMarie - this fic came out when I had just lost a parent and strangely my parent’s priest was young and attractive, not as hot as father Lupin though. Anyhow, this one has a special place in my heart.
The Player’s Secret by WrappedUp - I adore the R&S love story in this fic. I don’t really know much about soccer but I got swept up in the World Cup so enjoyed the re-read. I’ve just finished watching Beckham so will definitely need to have another read.
I have been following this fic for a while now and am always excited when there is an update. A coffee shop AU that is loooonnnnng. Sometimes it takes me a couple of days to get through a chapter - I adore all of the details and often need to reread parts.

A couple of Christmas ago, I read a fic that absolutely destroyed me - trauma, mental illness, double MCD. I even cried when i thought about it a few days later. The fic was accompanied by poetry that was simply gorgeous and matched the story beautifully. Have i convinced you to read it??? Trouble is I can’t remember the name of it, it has been deleted and the tumblr deactivated.
To make up for this woeful fic rec here is one that definitely got me teary and part of a series that is delightful - “love is powerful magic” was definitely responsible for hitting me with all the feelings.
You really can’t go wrong with anything from lunchbucket. These 2 are faves and were hard to split. The pettiness of Remus in Pettyverse is a thing of beauty. I probably related to his character quite a bit. Love the music references in both of these fics.
