The thief ruffled his already unruly hair in the glass of shopâs window display, not looking pleased at all with his appearance. Though both his clothes and visage were turning heads by all sorts of people, he didnât seem to take any heed of that. When your job mainly consisted of pleasing people of all kinds, why should it? Still, he couldnât help but feel as if something was missing. Maybe he should have worn a little makeup today?
A face reflected in the tinted glass gave the male pause as he turned on his heels, hair quickly forgotten. âHey, there!â Flashing a friendly smile, he waved and strolled on over. âOh, wow. Arenât you the most prettiest thing Iâve ever laid eyes on! Say, can you help me out? Would you happen to have any lip-gloss on you I could borrow? I left mine at home, unfortunately.â
She was on her way home from school but stopped at the sight of the stranger fixing their appearance at a store window. Jelly has rarely seen guys who care about their appearances. Or this could be her lack of male friends. Unconsciously, her feet carried her over to the male. She was mesmerized by him.
His greeting snapped her back into reality but she reentered her starstruck state as soon as he complimented her. Who wouldnât? Itâs not like compliments constantly rained from the sky. âLip gloss?â She tried to gather herself to prevent any mishaps happen between the two. The blonde didnât want to embarrassed herself in front of him. Her hand checked around her bag and found the one sheâs using today. Todayâs shade is pastel pink. As she hands the gloss to him, her nervousness interrupts and her fingers slips which made it seem like she threw it towards him.
