Stefan Salvatore Application
ACCEPTED!
Name: Kelly
Time Zone: CST
Face Claim: Paul Wesley
Character Name: Stefan Salvatore
Activity Level: Depends on the day. 7/10 average
Character Background:Â (At least two full paragraphs.) Stefan has enough life stories to last you, well, a lifetime. Born in 1847 to Giuseppe Salvatore, he had a normal enough life. He had an older brother who was as free spirited as they got and a father who believed in traditions and people's places within society. In 1864, after both he and his brother fell for the same girl, they met the end of their lives. Their human ones, anyway. After being turned into vampires, they embarked on their own separate journeys, crossing paths occasionally in the middle, though never to particularly good or warm outcomes between the two of them. And then Elena happened. The doppelganger of the girl they'd both fallen for had drawn them to Mystic Falls, VA, their original home. It had been a long journey to get to that point and everything was really just starting. Stefan fell in love with her first, unless of course you asked Damon. Either way, they'd both fallen for the same girl once again and things were more than complicated.
After a particularly difficult situation in which Stefan ended up giving everything up for his brother's safety, he ended up being an Original lackey, more or less. He lost his humanity along the way, using a witch named Melissa Glaser to help Klaus in his desire to start a hybrid army. Somewhere along the lines, however, Stefan and Melissa developed a real connection and when Klaus finally freed Stefan from his compulsion to serve him, he'd ran as far from Mystic Falls as he could get. Between Elena and Melissa....not to mention the body count he'd at least doubled in his time with Klaus, he just needed time to figure out who he was. Which wasn't exactly an easy feat without Lexi, his usual anchor, around. Finally coming to his senses, however, he realized that he couldn't make it through his struggle to regain his humanity all on his own. The desire was there, but the means weren't. So he followed Melissa to Fredericksburg, knowing that this was mostly his own fight, but a little help along the way wouldn't hurt. He'd been off of human blood for a few months now, so as long as he kept that going, everything would be fine, right?
In-Character Sample Para:Â (At least two-three full paragraphs.)
This wasn’t the sort of story that they wrote novels about. There would never be some big epic romance made about Stefan and Melissa. If he was being honest, he was pretty sure it wouldn’t even qualify as any sort of romance at this point. It was simply a story about two people who had fucked up lives and occasionally connected over them. It wasn’t the sort of story that people would long to have or live out on their own but for Stefan, at that moment, it was enough. For the first time in months, he felt almost okay. He wasn’t plagued with the weight of everything he’d done and everything he’d messed up. Instead, he was completely focused on how it felt to have Melissa back in his arms. Things would probably go back to exactly how they had been in not too long, the focus returning to that stupid coffin and Klaus, but he was choosing to enjoy this brief moment while he had it instead of focusing on the millions of negatives that he could be.Â
He pulled back just slightly and rested his forehead against Melissa’s, keeping his hand cupping her face as his thumb brushed lightly over her cheek. He had no idea what he was doing, didn’t have the smallest inkling as to where any of this was going, but that seemed to be the norm for him these days so he was just going to try to relax and go with it. Maybe Melissa had been right. Maybe Stefan would make it out of this whole thing and be okay. After all, he’d made it through over 150 years and was still managing somehow. He’d lived multiple lifetimes, most of which hadn’t exactly been good, but he always ended up okay eventually. He didn’t love Melissa. He knew that much. But he could one day. If he let himself. And really, stranger things had happened in his life.Â
He pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, allowing his lips to linger against her skin for a moment before leaning back just enough to look down at her. “We’ll be okay,” he said with a small nod, though he wasn’t sure which of them he was saying that for more. Either way, it was something that both of them needed to hear, a reassurance that not only them, but all of Mystic Falls could use. Eventually things wouldn’t be so terrible. And when that happened, he hoped Melissa was still there with him.
Possible Storylines: All of them. :|
Barbra Armstrong Audition
Accepted!
Name: Lena
Time Zone: PST
Face Claim: Crystal Reed
Character Name: Barbra Armstrong
Activity Level: 7-8/10
Possible Love Interests:Â Parker Mitchell
Character Background:Â Barbra Armstrong, commonly known as Babs, was the middle of three children born to Micah and Rosie Armstrong. Her life in her family were pretty good most days. Her parents were happy and in love but things seemed to have fallen apart after the accident at the boathouse killed her mother and several of her parents' friends. Her father had never been the same after that and unable to live in Mystic Falls anymore, he packed up his three kids and headed to settle in Fredericksburg, VA. As well as the move, Micah decided to cut magic out of their lives as well. Barbra spent most of her life not knowing about the magic part of her life until she was cleaning out the attic and stumbled upon several things of her mothers. She was seventeen then, and with her brothers, she practiced the best she could to control over her powers. Now, she has been accepted to UMW and is ready for her first year of College. Â
In-Character Sample Para:Â Struggling, Barbra made her way up the stairs of the James Anderson dorm with her arms full of boxes that held her stuff. Her father followed along behind her, probably to make sure that she didn't trio on the steps, and they both made their way down the hall until they found the dorm room that was meant for her. She balanced the box on her hip as she pulled out the key that her RA had given her and pushed open the door. She peeked her head inside and tilted her head. "Its uh... its nice!" She laughed softly as she pushed open the door further and stepped inside. Her father looked around and shook his head in a disapproving manner. "Still don't like the fact that this is a co-ed dorm," he said simply earning himself a wide grin from his daughter. "Come on Dad," She commented softly as she set her box down on the bed on the right side of her room. She tucked her hands away in her back pockets and nodded, "thanks for helping." She looked her father over before she stepped forward and wrapped her arms around his broad frame. "I'm gonna miss you," she murmured softly as she closed her eyes. "I'm going to miss you too, Babygirl."Â
Possible Storylines: Open to anything. Babs dealing with her mom's death. Developing her powers. Babs joining a Sorority!
Rebecca Wilson App
ACCEPTED!
Name: Jonathan
Time Zone: CST
Face Claim: Katie Cassidy
Name of Character: Rebecca Wilson
How active will you be able to be: 8/10
Possible Love Interests: Rebecca/Chemistry
Background Info: Rebecca Wilson was never the rough and tumble type. She considered herself more of a girly-girl. That was until her accident. Most werewolves came from bloodlines, but Rebecca's mother and grandfather had never triggered their curse. So when she unintentionally knocked someone down the stairs at her job, she was surprised to find out that she was a werewolf. Only a short week later was she writhing in a cellar, literally howling in pain. Now a year later, she's still learning to cope with what she is and reconciling that with who she was and wants to be.
She moved to Fredericksburg when she was in high school, and after her accident, didn't feel too comfortable straying very far. She had to learn on her own how to handle her problem on her own, since her mother had no idea what was going on and her father was absent. She enrolled at UMW in her senior year of high school and is about to start her freshman year at the college.
In Character Sample Paragraph:
"You are so full of it," Rebecca said into her phone as it rested between her ear and shoulder while she worked at putting on an earring. "Look. I'm sorry he dumped you but maybe you shouldn't have used the words doughy pig man so often. Yeah, I know he called you a raving harpy but, listen Shanna, I have to go. I'm late. I would love to listen to you bitch some more but-- wow. Rude." She hung up the phone and quickly put in her other earring. Smoothing out her skirt, she checked herself in the mirror before heading out the door. This was her life now. After quitting her first job, she'd landed a receptionist gig at a local dentists clinic. It paid well and everything, but she always ended up missing a couple of days due to her condition.
Rebecca's walk was a short one, even in her heels. She hated driving really. The car felt too small, too confined. Just like her basement did these days. She owned a vehicle, but it was a rare occasion that she used it. For now, she'd just get there on foot. Mystic Falls wasn't too big of a city and her heightened abilities made it a breeze. She'd done a good job of avoiding everyone's drama so far, and even though there had been whispers among the few werewolves she knew about some guy named Klaus, she intended to stay out of trouble. It wasn't her job to get mixed up in any of this.
Parker Mitchell App
ACCEPTED!
Name: Ryann
Time Zone: EST
Face Claim: Colton Haynes
Character Name: Parker Mitchell
Activity Level: 6-7/10
Character Background: (At least two full paragraphs.) Parker has always strived to his limit to be the best at everything, ever since he was a child. Grades, sports, attendance are just a few examples of how hard Parker pushes himself to be better than everyone else. His parents and friends often grew bemused at his drive, wondering why he needed to succeed so highly if he was already superb in all regards. Sometimes, even Parker doesn't know.
-His life changes drastically when he becomes the Kanima. Blackouts and frequent mood changes are starting to affect his relationships and with mysterious murders occurring left and right, Parker wonders how long it will be until he solves this issue without hurting Barbra along the way.
In-Character Sample Para:Â (At least two-three full paragraphs.)
Rubbing his eyes and squinting at the mirror, Parker examines his face, trying to find the source of his blackouts. He hasn't touched alcohol in weeks, more concerned with his slipping grades than going to a party. He looks exhausted and ten years older, as if he'd slept some of his life away.
Parker shakes his head and hears his phone beep, alerting him to a voicemail from Babs. Sudden fear envelops him completely; has he done anything or said anything to her that would ruin whatever was between them?

Mike Chang Application
ACCEPTED!
Name: Ryann
Time Zone: EDT
Face Claim: Harry Shum Jr.
Character Name: Mike Chang
Activity Level: 6-7/10
Character Background:Â (At least two full paragraphs.): Despite the disbelief of escaping Mystic Falls more or less intact, Mike has yet to settle into the college life. Still struggling with his bloodlust, he tries as hard as he can to improve and retain control over his instincts. He wonders just how long it will be until he slips up, but prefers to think optimistically. His hometown is in the past for good, now, to his relief, and he wants to look to the future with a fresh outlook on life. Vampirism is not the end, according to Mike (Daniel's stern talk with him straightened out any misconceptions of their existence), it is only the beginning.

In-Character Sample Para:Â (At least two-three full paragraphs.)
He hadn't seen her standing there until several minutes of silence had passed and they were alone in the hallway, him checking a bulletin board and her typing out a text. Clair seems older, somehow, but he can't really be surprised by that. She does age, after all. She's bound to act differently as the years go by.
"Hey, Sommers," he says as nonchalantly as possible. "Fancy seeing you here."

Melissa Glaser App
ACCEPTED!
Name: Jonathan
Time Zone: CST
Face Claim: Jessica Parker Kennedy
Character Name: Melissa Glaser
Activity Level: Over 9000
Possible Love Interests: Stefan Salvatore
Character Background:Â
melissa was born in mystic falls, virginia to patrick glaser and sophie-anne glaser. her mother, sophie-anne had been too trusting of john blackwell, leading to melissa being born. sophie-anne died during the witch hunter attack on her circle, leaving melissa to be raised by patrick and later on with his second wife. she was somewhat reserved growing up, but became good friends with other children of her parents circle. adam, faye, diana, and nick. in high school, she learned that she and her friends were witches, that vampires and werewolves existed, and that her life was in danger everyday. she met and fell in love with stefan salvatore.
before graduation, she and stefan decided to part ways and melissa eventually completed high school and moved to fredericksburg to attend school. she lives with her best friend, clair, and while trying to navigate her way through college and a new town, hopefully leaving her old supernatural concerns behind in mystic falls.
In-Character Sample Para:
Melissa checked her watch. It was pretty early, but Clair and Sam would be beginning their preparations soon and she needed to be out of the way. She was going to stick around tonight, before she’d noticed how Clair reacted to her day out with Sam. It hadn’t even occurred to her that it might not sit well with her best friend, but apparently Melissa was disregarding everyone’s feelings this week. She had already hurt Rachel by leaving to help Stefan. She had only been focused on one thing, and since Rachel and Puck had been texting all night, didn’t think it was a big deal. She’d been proven wrong and spent the next morning crying in Stefan’s bathroom, only allowing herself to be enticed out by the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet. And then she had to one up that by essentially asking Sam out on a date. It hadn’t been her intention, Sam wasn’t a prospect to her. He was like that geeky, big-lipped older brother more than anything. But it had apparently struck a nerve with Clair leaving Melissa to wonder if she should call it off. Pushing out of the house without saying anything, she walked to her car. Where could she go tonight?
She wanted to go to Stefan’s, but wasn’t sure if he’d want her around or not. They’d basically spent the weekend together and the things Damon had said were still sticking with her. What was going to happen to her if Stefan got his emotions and feelings and free will back? Would he want Elena back or had he really moved on? Melissa didn’t want to spend too much time thinking on it and tried to avoid it if she could. Instead she drove in silence, not really heading anywhere in particular. Visiting Matt had crossed her mind, but since she hadn’t called ahead, she didn’t know if he was working or not. The Grill or the Boathouse was another option, but neither sounded interesting enough. When had her life gotten like this? She had so many options but nowhere to go. Diana, Cassie, Faye. All of her friends but she really just wanted to be alone. Being out on a full moon night was dangerous, at least Stefan seemed to think so for her. Not all werewolves liked to cage themselves up like most of the ones she knew. But it was quiet tonight and the moon wasn’t even very high up yet, so she pulled over somewhere near the lake and got out.
Sitting down at the edge, Melissa ran a hand along the surface, smiling slightly. It was actually a really nice night out. Calm and quiet, a low breeze blowing through the trees. Maybe she just needed to commune with nature or something. “Parva luminaria,” she said, smiling as what she’d hoped would happen did. Several tiny lights exploded around her, hanging in the air like tiny stars. Moving her hand, she gasped lightly as they moved with her. She would definitely have to show this to someone, but she didn’t know who. And she wasn’t sure how to turn them off. “Nox?” Melissa frowned and sighed. “Sorry JKR, guess you got it wrong that time.” She took a deep breath, clenching her hand into a fist. “Oh. That’s how,” she mumbled as the lights all went out at once. Pursing her lips, she held her hands open. “Magna luminaria.” There was a bright flash of light, disorienting her for a moment and she groaned, rubbing her eyes. “Never let it be said that Google Translator is useless.” Melissa lay back, her hair tossed out around her head on the grass. Maybe she could just be here and think about things, or preferably stare at the stars and moon and not think. Yes, that’s what she would do. She’d let go of her thoughts for now. The night was too beautiful to ruin with the weight of the world.
Possible Storylines: Stefan, drunk shenanigans, dark!Melissa, more Stefan, and lots of witchy fun
Eden Malloye Audition
ACCEPTED!
Name: Lena
Time Zone: PST
Face Claim: Rachel Bilson
Character Name: Eden Malloye
Activity Level: 7-8/10
Possible Love Interests: Eden/Chemistry, Eden/anyone who can keep up with Eden or has Clair's approval.
Character Background: Eden Malloye is the girl who disappeared from Mystic Falls when she was fourteen with no real explanation. Before she disappeared, Eden was the all american girl. Kind, popular and did well in school. She had plenty of friends and nothing seemed wrong with her life. Her parents were well off and weren’t the kind of people to keep enemies. The only secret they had was the fact that Eden was adopted and through a not-so-legal organization. Eden had no idea of the whole thing, until a woman came up to her after cheer practice and claimed to be her mother. Everything seemed to spiral out of control for Eden and she ran away from everything that she knew to go searching for something she thought she needed. Eventually, she did find her real parents who were apart of a werewolf pack in Spokane, Washington. She triggered when she was seventeen and wasn’t a happy ordeal. But when she was nineteen she returned to Mystic Falls for a little change of scenery and maybe see some old friends. But it seemed that new friends were what filled her life and suddenly, Eden found herself in her own pack and its Alpha. It was the first time where she was responsible for more than herself and the safety of her pack became her life. Coming to UMW was not her idea, she really didn't think College was in her cards. But she gave it a shot and surprising got into the school where the rest of her pack was going. She's trying to put her life together and making sure that everyone, and she means everyone, survives through their college experience. Anything past then, she'll deal with when they get there.
In-Character Sample Para: That day was going relatively well for Eden for a day before the full moon. She had avoided most contact with people like she usually did for these kind of days, and busied herself with preparations for the following night. She had to prepare for two, which felt odd for even herself, and she was slightly worried if she had enough to handle them both. The wolfsbane would weaken them both but she had a feeling that she was going to have to do a lot of convincing to get Gabriel to drink it since she doubt that she could sneak it into the drink that he would have during their dinner. If they were still going to have dinner together that is. Her brow furrowed at the thought and wondered when was the last time she had heard from the other werewolf and it felt a little off with him not sending her some innuendo as an attempt to beat her at the game they had going. He was currently in the lead, but with her mouth, she didn’t think that would last long.
But as she continued with the text conversation, any good about her day quickly disappeared from her mind and she found herself leaving her room and rushing out of Fabray household. She glided into her Kia with ease and pulled out of the drive at a break neck speed. She tossed her phone into the passenger seat when she soon found out the important point of the story: Caleigh, Gabriel’s little sister, was dead. And the murder suspect was none only Alec. Their infamous former pack leader.Â
Eden pulled her car on the side of the road and got out with ease. She jogged up to the front door and gently pushed the door open, surprised that the lock was unlocked. She didn’t have much time to question why it was that way when she was suddenly pinned against the wall and she gasped as the air was quickly forced from her lungs. She quickly gripped down on his hand as she struggled to get him off of her hating the fact that he was clearly stronger than her. She took in a deep, thankful, breath when he finally realized her and she pressed her hand against the wall for balance while the other flew to her neck to examine the bruises that were bound to form - though not going to stay long since rapid healing was a perk of a werewolf. Coughing, she glared up at him. “Its,” She croaked out. “Not a smart idea to go back into his territory. That’s what he wants. He’ll kill you on sight.”
Possible Storylines: I'm open to anything. Eden and Clair being awesome wolfmates. College fun. Seeing if she can convince people to make the pack their own sorority/fraternity. all around awesomeness.
Clair Sommers Application
ACCEPTED!
Name: Jenn
Time Zone: EST
Face Claim: Ashley Benson
Character Name: Clair Sommers
Activity Level: 6-8
Possible Love Interests: Anyone she has chemistry with
Character Background:Â (At least two full paragraphs.)
orn in Nags Head, North Carolina, Clair Marie Evans (nee Sommers) has been causing trouble since she came out of the womb. The product of an affair between Savannah Sommers and her brother-in-law Russel Fabray, Clair has been treated with contempt her whole life. After accidentally killing a childhood friend and later on being attacked by a particulary vicious high school wolf pack, years of obvious hatred turned into unfeeling neglect from her parents. She was sent to live alone in Mystic Falls. Twice a month she was subjected to a cursory interview with her parents before they gave her spending money to take care of herself while they were gone and sedatives to help with her werewolf transformations. While she had never been close to her cousin (and half-sister) before, Quinn Fabray and Clair Sommers started to grow closer after Clair moved to town. While the girls used to tease each other being forced to spend time together helped them both open their eyes and discover that they had a lot in common. The day Quinn left town was one of the hardest days of Clair’s life but it helped her see that she was living in a toxic environment and she needed to get out.
Applying to UMW was a decision she'd made when she was dating her first love, Sam Evans. Unfortunately, like most first relationships, their's didn't last. They tried to get back together after being broken up for five months but they had changed too much to work as a couple. Still, they remained good friends and had been excited about moving forward together. That is, until Clair found out that Sam got into RISD. It was his dream school and she couldn't let him waste the opportunity just for her, so she sent him on his way as she prepared to go on her own. She wouldn't be completely alone, she still had her friends and her pack, but it was a new stage in her life and she was both scared and excited for all the changes that would bring.
In-Character Sample Para:Â (At least two-three full paragraphs.):
Clair’s first week back at school had been a disaster. Her extended vacation had been nice, it’d given her time to think about everything in her life and make some better choices in the future. She’d enjoyed having time to figure things out, even though she’d skillfully avoided any relationship talk with Sam. Not being next to Sam all day had been an odd adjustment too. She’d forgotten how separate their lives were at school. After they’d broken up they’d worked hard to avoid each other and it was coming back to bite her in the ass now. Even though he was one-hundred percent recovered she still wanted to check on him all the time just to make sure that he was still doing alright. It was silly and irrational but she worried that somehow he’d injure himself again and she’d have to face him dying again.
In typical Clair fashion, she’d come home from school with Sam and just vegged for as long as possible. When she could no longer deny her hunger, she’d ordered some food for the two of them from the Grill. These past few weeks she’d been reluctantly to leave her house, afraid of what was waiting outside for her, so Melissa would go on food runs for them. Lately Melissa could be found anywhere though. Clair wasn’t stupid, she knew Melissa was up to something but she was just too tired to confront her friend head on. Her roommate being gone, Clair was forced to rely on the Grill’s new delivery service. She place a huge order of food and waited impatiently for her food to get there.
The second she heard the doorbell, Clair was sprinting towards the door. Her wolf speed helped her get there faster than usual and she almost ran straight into the door in her haste to answer it. “Food,” she exclaimed as she opened the door. Her stomach gave a growl in approval and she smiled sheepishly. “Hi, I’m Clair and I’m fucking famished. You’re Blaine, right?” She took the bag out of his hand and put it on the table next to the door. “Oh, shit, not another one” she muttered as she got a whiff of Blaine’s scent. There was another werewolf town. Well this was just fucking great. “Sorry,” she shrugged, “manners aren’t my strong suit.”
Possible Storylines: Dealing with the pack, life after Sam, drunken hijinks, etc.
