Long time..no see....

Its been quite a while since I posted anything on my tumblr. Yet things have continued to change around me. I will be changing jobs soon and with the euphoria that is my happiness at the new opportunity... I am a little nervous. Which is natural. I am also attempting to develop a whole new style of my art that will be more beneficial in reaching my goal of making a success of myself. I have never attempted anything like this before so wish me luck. I will keep you guys updated.

Newest piece that was just sold. I hope this is a metaphor for how life will be from now on. Ive been struggling with depression and paranoia lately and therefore havent been working on pieces like I should be. Hopefully this changes soon. I must change it.

So I finally have been able to begin my new project for this year. Finding the time was hard but I feel it made the process a lot more special and precious more than anything else so here it is... the beginning of my first painting. A newly revamped Buddha from the previous drawing I posted. Paint will be the next step. :-)

New Projects

My newest project for this year will be a series on gods and deities. I've always been fascinated with the countless numbers of deities and gods that have existed in the many cultures and religions across the world and throughout time. Thus I started a small sketch a while back that I just now put color too and have been inspired to continue it's work and am excited to see many more pieces come from this project. Stay tuned....

Unfortunately I have learned that the sketchbook challenge has officially closed its doors as of the end of last month. It is a shame but I will be trying other challenges and contests in it's place. So I wish its author all the best on their new endeavors and journey on, looking for the next great challenge.

New Year, New Determination.

I have been floundering for what seems like forever. I am proud to announce though that I now have a substantial path that I can follow. Even if the road gets rocky or I stray from the path a couple of times I know I can find my way back now. Determination determines a great deal of success in life and for the longest time I had problems finding mine. But I know anything is possible now. In other news I will be starting a new project in the new year as well as finishing my last semester of GED coursework for my Associates degree. Yes I will be graduating! As well as becoming a follower and participant in the sketchbook challenge! So I cant wait for the new year and until then I will be updating you guys on minor steps that happen in between. Tomorrow will also be my first college campus visit for info on transferring to a 4 year. So wish me luck!

A New Beginning

Welcome to the new home of my new and improved blog! A big thanks to all my followers old and new that have helped me through this journey so far and it is still an ongoing process everyday. Anyway I am definitely going to try and upload much more of my daily thought processes and work since the switch.
