Having my favorite movie be a shitty C-list animated movie sucks because no one will take me seriously when I say I love it. Like yes, it’s cheesy, however look at the unintentional metaphors for queerness. Ignore the joke about turning a cow into a vampire. Look at how one family accepts their child’s interest in the otherness but only if he keeps it quiet. Look at how the other family denies the other child the right to forge his own path.
