now that cata is retired i’d like her to write a memoir spilling the tea about her experience in deva lmfao. she clearly did not get along with Forminte, as evidenced by any video of her at 2006 Euros, and the reception she received after this floor routine at 2007 Nationals lmao. it seemed like everybody else hated her too, and i’m not sure if thats because 2005-2007 was her look at me wrong and i kill you with my eyes phase, or if they were highkey jealous that the RGF let her train in Bucharest instead of in the middle of nowhere Deva. out of everyone on the team, she also clearly did not get along with Izbasa, which is why i find the 2012 Olympic team dynamic so interesting, where they were both the seasoned veterans of the team. 

**cough cough there’s also the part where post athens to 2007 that she got in trouble for sneaking out of Deva with Daniela Sofronie to a birthday party, where she created a very risque calendar which created some drama iirc, and when she got the entire mens team quarantined because she hooked up with one of them while having mono or something similar cough cough**
