Ilya’s life flashes before his eyes as he thinks of all the times Shane has come over with a snack for Ilya and a treat for Anya, or all the times Shane has announced they’re all going for an after dinner walk, or pets Ilya’s hair and tells him he did a good job at practice, or the fact that he uses the same warning tone with Anya when she misbehaves as he does with Ilya when he’s causing problems on purpose

i think that after they get married and have a joint bank account ilya starts sending shane requests for insane sums of money. like shane will get a cash app notification of ilya asking for 1,000 dollars and the message will just say something like "bigmac ❤️🍔😄" and shane will reply with "that's literally OUR money" but then sends him maybe 10 bucks so ilya can live out his sugar baby dreams

"the wedding should have chairs" "they need a better first dance song" "they should write their own vows" NO. the wedding being kinda shit is important. first of all because they put this together in a couple months while also on playoff runs while also dealing with the fallout of bradgate and tripgate. they were BUSY.
second of all because as romantic and sappy as they are, these two men do not care about performing Correct Wedding, they care about putting rings on fingers and getting to make out in front of their friends and family. they don't have to justify or seek validation for their relationship beyond signing the paperwork.
