wrench’s music taste really isn’t just rock & metal ! he enjoys future funk, bitpop, and other, not - so - mainstream versions of pop as well. namely macross 82 - 99, anamanaguchi, & charli xcx. but nevertheless, rock & metal are the most listened to.
going off my version of wrench being afro - asian, i was talking to rome, and what i’ll be basing his self - consciousness & issues with his self - image on is the color of his skin. i hc his immediate family ( more so his mom ) to have had a generally alright relationship, but his grandparents, who he was frequently left to be babysat by, to have ingrained this .. internalized antiblackness into his life, primarily focused at himself & his black father. he knows it’s wrong, he knows deep down there’s nothing wrong with it. but unfortunately, he has extreme issues coping with it. this is what i’ll be referencing to when the “disrupted childhood” comes into play, as well as being bullied in school.
though wrench likes to play off most things with crude humor, curses, and otherwise ... he’s extremely intelligent. he likes to play it off because he doesn’t want to be placed on some sort of pedastal. he just likes being wrench.
he has rather small gauges in both ears, a septum piercing, a nose stud ( he doesn’t wear this one too often, but enough to prevent the hole from closing up ), a tongue stud - piercing. he can’t bring himself to get lip piercings though.
the tattoos on his hands were actually self - done. he knows how to do tattoos, but he’s just not that good when it comes to the actual artistic side of it -- that’s what sitara’s good at. speaking about this, he’s ambidextrous.
he dyes his own hair, but only the top -- never the roots. sometimes, he lets sitara do it when it comes to brighter, neon colors.
he’s nonbinary, male - presenting ! he / they pronouns are what he prefers. he’s also demiromantic & demisexual.
