My new favorite thing is realtors adding āNOT HAUNTEDā to for sale signs, completely convincing any sane person that the house is definitely haunted.
me, a middle-aged white man in the midwest with marriage troubles and two kids that need a fresh start in a new town:
WHY IS THIS SO FUNNY
can we bring back captcha comics
No offense but these are absolute classic images
I spent 3 hours on this

My last three brain cells when i want to buy something I dont need
Artbook Scans Week 2 - Side 2 - Drawings of Mucha
I love Muchaās sketches just as much as his paintings if not more.
Itās so hard to find books which include his sketches so when I found this book I had to grab it up. Its a pretty old book so you can find it cheap nowadays. (see the link in the title of the book). Hope you guys enjoyed the share!Ā
My brother just sent me this on snapchat I canāt fucking stop laughing this is so stupid I hate him
Wood Pokemon Gameboy Cartridges made by Pigminted

today inĀ āthings iām disproportionately emotional aboutā:
itās facial reconstructions of prehistoric humans!!
like, look at this part-homo sapiens, part-neandertal man from well over 30,000 years ago:
doesnāt he just look like a dude youād wanna hang out with? like he probably washes dishes in the kitchen with you, and has excellent weed
what a charming fellow. what stories he probably has to tell. iād definitely go shoot the shit with him on Contemplation Rock after iād finished my dayās work carving a bone flute for the autumn hunting ceremony, or whatever
people have been people ever since people first became people, i tell you what
they all had lives and histories and families and friends and dumb gossip and games they played and total bullshit in which they believed wholeheartedly
they all argued about the nature of the world, and of themselves
they all sang songs
they all drew pictures
they all buried their dead in graves, and they buried their dead in graves well before they did a lot of that other stuff. they buried their dead with flowers, with panther claws, with the bones of animals theyād killed, with the bones of family members who had died at the same time or earlier. they buried their dead with their arms folded across their chests
they fell in love
they took care of their old and their sick and their disabled, even when it cost them
they made new things, and worried about what the new things meant for people everywhere, as a whole
Oh I like him he looks like he would appreciate my jokes
This dude would have great stories at a get-together and would bring some really great homemade dip.Ā
I feel like he really digs Lo-Fi Music
This guy was sculpted by Alfons and Adrie Kennis, and their Neanderthal reconstructions are all delightful.Ā
I love the kid in the last picture a lot- they look like a kid, just a little kid whoās done some mischief and is trying not to laugh about it.
I also adore their Lucy- theyāve struck a wonderful balance between the falling angel and the rising ape.
And their Turkana boy- thereās something precious and wistful in those eyes.Ā
But my favoriteĀ has got to be their reconstruction of H. floresiensis.
Just look at her. Thatās a face of someone whoās lived and seen a lot, but also a face thatās known love and joy and laughter. Thatās a face with a soul.Ā
Cactuses
Listen does anyone else remember that episode of Scooby Do where theyre talking about how thick the fog was and one of them pulled out a knife and cut a circle in the fog and then ate the fog circle. why is this so vivid.
it seems like a lot of people remember it vividly, but whatās weirder is that everyone iāve seen remembers him cutting the fog and eating it, but he doesnāt eat it
why does everyone including myself, remember him eating the fog
OK so hereās the dealio
Apparently there IS a scene where Scooby Doo cuts a hole in the fog in the shape of a donut and takes a bite out of it (as evidenced by this picture)
But hereās the strangest thing: All I could find was one screen cap of this instance
Iāve searched all over google and youtube and couldnāt find the actual clip
Itās like someone went to great lengths to erase its existence off the web
All that remains of it is this one picture of the scene
We all remember it vividly, yet the scene itself has simply up and vanished
someone absolutely went to great lengths to stop this sensitive footage from being leaked onto the web of scoobert eatin fog, but heres the first video thatās suggested from the one aboveĀ
