"Such a commandeering and aggressive lady… I do wonder how she alone aided in the creation of the ISPA."
Irene chuckled. It had been quite some time since she had last heard her first and last name together.
"I’m sure you’d love to hear it. Of course, I’m also not sure I can trust you. If you’re anywhere as slippery as your girlfriend is, giving you information like that could spell disaster for us as an Agency… and I already have to keep her on such a tight leash as it is…"
Irene thought for a moment. “…Eh, she’s probably going to tell you the story eventually anyway. …You have to promise me you won’t tell anyone, though. This is super-classified stuff. We don’t even talk about this with the A-Ranks. Promise?”
She briefly took the opportunity to make sure her badge was set to Private mode as she started to shift herself towards the exit.
"Of course I won't tell anyone about it. That's exactly why I took preemptive actions for this encounter."
Synthia walked through the empty hallway, leading Irene to the one of the many ordinary bathrooms of the castle. She tapped lightly on ladies sign of the door a few times, while surveying the area around her. She opened the door, which instead of leading to an ordinary woman's bathroom of the castle, led to, well... something that couldn't possibly be a bathroom. A beach, to be exact.
The beach looked like something seen from a postcard: Sun shining from above, the sparkling, blue ocean laid in front of them, and several tables with giant umbrellas, next to rows upon rows of reclining chairs. A resort could be seen in the distance behind them, obviously meant for longer visits. Synthia led them to a table, making sure to close the door behind them.
"This should be private enough. Not even the king knows this room exists. Welcome to my private hideout." Synthia summoned a few drinks on the table, obviously pleased with the amount of effort she put into this setup.
"Now, if you could begin with your narrative..."
