Pomni if she wasn't an enabler
Me when i am favourd by the narative and fanbase but still through a tantrum .
The characters are so awkward with each other that you probably wouldn't know that they had been stuck in the circus together for years if it wasn't explicitly said by jax in the pilot. I don't like that they keep getting paired up like high school cliques and gossiping about each other instead of actually interacting.
I'm kinda late to this topic but this theater release was not worth it at all. Releasing the finale on just Youtube and Netflix would've been a way better choice than having it be inaccessible to so many fans for two weeks. If you wanted to make more money, Glitch, just say that.
Pomni's line "we need to abandon the idea of leaving" would've been stronger if she actually spent more time trying to find the exit and had that as a part of her character. She abandoned the idea of leaving right after the pilot and was fully adjusted to the circus by episode 4, so that line felt more underwhelming than I think it was supposed to be.
I feel like the bucket on Kinger's head could've been an actual part of his default design similar to Gangle's masks. As much as I like him when he's being "crazy", I prefer his lucid personality over his "LOL so random" moments for the sake of memes. I also think him losing his sanity should've been taken more seriously, but it's been used for jokes more times than not up until episode 7 or 8.
There could still be room for comedic relief. Him being lucid for more time doesn't mean he can't still have a personality. I think it'd be better for him to be silly because that's just a part of who he is and not because he's "insane."
Jax whenever another character gets 0.00001 seconds of screentime
It's almost funny how i've seen more people angry about the spoilers that could've been easily predicted than about the literal racist creators and VAs behind the show.
I hate that Zooble had to share an episode with not only Kinger, but ALSO Caine and was comepletly underdeveloped in general. I would've prefered to have a full episode dedicated to them instead of having a "Caine is evil now" episode.
All we know about Zooble is that they're nonbinary, they were a bartender before the circus, they hate their circus body, they're close with Gangle, and that they had "dreams and goals" and want to leave the circus.
I also hate that Ragatha had to share an episode with Jax. I wish that episode was actually from her perspective like how episode 4 was from Gangle's perspective. We could've had the whole "Jax's friends are dead" thing in episode six to go alongside his "You Are My Playthings" monologue.
Why didn't they just have Kinger say Queenie's name in episode three? Like, was it really that hard to have Kinger say "My wife, Queenie" when she was being introduced to the audience? Why do we never hear her name in the show? even in the episode she finally showed up we still didn't hear her name?
We hear Scratch's name twice before we've ever heard Queenie and he didn't even have any lines.
