It's that time of the year when I'm so busy but also want to get back to writing that one fanfic that I have nearly completely outlined (and also started writing) because why oh why does the Beryl plot line haunt me so much in this show?? Right when I was kind of getting a bit frustrated with how crammed everything was getting THEY BUILT ALL THAT UP AND MADE HER GO BACK TO THE CONVENT

I'm also surprised at how few fanfics there are about the plot because there's so much potential?? Alas, maybe one day I'll give in to the writing bug and actually start posting chapters again.

What are some scenes that, looking back, you wish you had seen in season 15?

I don't know about you all but for me personally Call the Midwife did not have a finale. Episode 8 of Season 15 is a suggestion, a supplement perhaps, but no, season 15 ends on a cliffhanger at episode 7 (because why did I just rewatch the episode and it's like I'm doing so for the first time?? sobbing?? again??)

Thoughts about today's finale

The Sister Julienne of S1 would never have left sister MJ for a SINGLE SECOND and her lack of urgency over the situation is so strange??

Also Beryl making the cake but not being present for anything else in the wedding is so sad like guys?? She's supposed to be your friend too?? (Geoffrey was there but not her? Come onnnn)

Rosalind and Cyril's wedding was kinda cute

Any scene with Sister MJ is making me cry

I CALLED IT THAT SHELAGH WILL DELIVER THE BABY

I'm sobbing at all the nuns escorting Sister MJ out the room 😭

Phyllis consoling Sister Catherine is so heartwarming

A present day sequel with Sister Catherine

She would be retired but younger than Sister Monica Joan and the stories she could tell - very knowledgeable and inspiring

She's only been in the show for 2 seasons but she genuinely became my favourite nun soooo fast!! Poor thing has been put through so many trials already.

This show has so much potential for a variety of spin-off/sequel/prequel shows and I would be seated and ready to watch all of them
