Finally! Arthroplasty Right Total Hip.
Just yesterday I had my 4th surgery in a time span of 3 years. My team of doctors are putting me back together one piece at a time.
At the age of 55 I have now had a total hip replacement of my right hip. I hope that this gives me back some of the mobility that I have been struggling to recover over the past 6 years.
I started my preparation and pursuit of this surgery at the end of October 2025; working on losing weight (44 lbs so far) and getting my A1C under control (Currently 5.3)
Battles with #Aetna over pre-authorization, Firing the first surgeon assigned to me after feeling like I was being asked to jump through unnecessary hoops as if I was a circus dog. In the end, that part turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I found a surgeon that specializes in a method called SuperPATH, which is much less invasive in terms of muscle and soft tissue damage from the procedure. Today is the first day of recovery after my surgery yesterday morning.
I have been very fortunate and blessed to have Alisha by my side through the whole process. She has been taking great care of me since coming home from the hospital.
New Steps
After living in my new home for just over 4 years, I finally have a nice set of steps going to the backyard from my sliding glass doors.
No more taking the Boyz out the front door, taking a two foot step off of the front porch and running for the backyard.
The timing could not be perfect, as I am having a total hip replacement next Tuesday.
The Boyz absolutely love them.

Cherished Moments in Time
I don't get to spend nearly as much time with my children as I would like. So, in the moments when we are together, I try to make sure that our time together is spent making memories and not simply being in close proximity to one another. Sure... I love our movie outings, or just chilling out at my house; but I've been robbed of the luxury of that kind of time. Time just being together with no agenda feels like time being taken for granted. My kids still "live at home" but they don't live at my home. So, when we are together... we do something fun. Adventurous. Memorable. Like, attending Animals Aglow - Chinese Lantern festival at the St Louis Zoo.

Saturday Morning Cartoons
FCC Regulations (The 1990 Children's Television Act): The government mandated that broadcasters air at least three hours of educational and informational programming (E/I) per week. Cartoons were expensive to produce and often did not meet these strict standards, leading networks to replace them with cheaper live-action educational shows.

Why are all rundown cities with huge ghettos run by democrats? Will they ever admit it's their issue?
