codywan repaint of Germanic Warrior with Helmet by Osmar Schindler (additional info and original painting under the cut)

Two years ago I became inspired upon seeing the original painting and planned to do my own codywan version. I finally got around to painting it this October over the course of a few sessions. Very happy with my first acrylic painting in five years. It's not a one-for-one master copy with the Star Wars elements superimposed because that wouldn't be fun for me. I prefer a different color palette and that much is very evident in the comparison.
