Each time It feels like I’m starting to understand this game it decides to hit me with another curve ball to the back of the head. Miracle Johnson feels on par with Herlock Sholmes and I love it.

Not a vanlock shipper, but I suppose I can see the appeal of whatever Sholmes got going on/repressed gothic lord dynamic.

Though if I would consider the scenario of a romantic relationship, I can see one with the attraction being one-sided, with Sholmes trying to get Van Zieks attention while Zieks is just trying to do his job. Or a once-a-thing when they were younger but it didn’t work out because of Zieks pushing everyone away when he became the reaper.

Frankly I have a hard time considering Van Zieks being in any kind of romantic relationship, at least not how he is currently in the games. Though I can see the possibility of him being in one before he became the reaper or in a future where he manages to heal to the point he can live normally.
