The video for "Night Creep," by Rarechild, was created and directed by Steve Nolan and Eddie Costas of Nerd Rage Film using confetti, two strobe lights, a 100-foot extension cord, and a pair of tiny black shorts.

"Night Creep," by Rarechild, was recorded in July. It concerns creeping. The song began when Michael hummed the melody into his phone. Very modern! Next he made a pretty creepy beat for the song on a computer in his bedroom, sampling his own voice and a swinging sword from a movie. Tim and CBX added slinky flourishes of bass, percussion, and arrangement.

"Wisecrack/How to Claim Your Prize" is an EP by Applause! The band was formed in 2011 by Jeff Stultz, Tommy Orza, and Chris Enriquez. The members have played in such bands as Limbs, On the Might of Princes, Villa Vina, Primitive Weapons, The Judas Knife, Paul Jefferson, and Balene.

Jeff Stultz currently plays solo under the moniker Paul Jefferson. Tommy Orza and Chris Enriquez currently play in the band The Judas Knife.

"Outside World" is the first single from Balene for 2012. Balene, from Brooklyn, is the songwriting project of Casey Brooks, backed and aided by Anna Bean, Jeff Stultz and Chris Pressler (of Limbs), Chris Bordeaux (of CBX), and Michael Friedrich.

This song was recorded by Brooks and mastered by Josh Bonati at Bonati Mastering.

CBX is Chris Bordeaux. Fireplace, his new EP, was recorded in disparate settings over the past two years, from Bordeaux's house in Springs, NY, to humid rehearsal spaces, to his present apartment in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
