She smiled softly when he got her meaning, leaning up to kiss him softly. His words made her roll her eyes, shaking her head a little. “It’s hard work, being the heroine of your story.” she teased him easily, melting into the embrace as he started to rub her back. She considered his next words, really thinking over her response. “It’s… messy. Everything around us… So basically the only right thing to do is what’s in the best interest of you and the people you care about.” she said decidedly. “If that means leaving, you leave. But it doesn’t mean getting expelled to do it.”

“I smell and probably taste like smoke.” Dimitri warned, pressing softly kisses along her jawline instead. “Well it’s a good thing I have healing potions as well as many remedies for the headaches I cause. Somehow, I think we’ll be all right.” he kept the teasing lightly, holding her close and brushed his hands up and down her arms as a way of contact - of just being with her, “My best interest is getting out of here for summer. But what about you? How can I help?” Dimitri leaned down, kissing her forehead, “If I can help it, I’ll try not to.”

Colt shook Dimitri’s hand and nodded “Thanks mate, I wish we both could’ve made it to the finals. You sure gave us a run for our money. … I know it’s not the easiest thing in the world. But you should still be very proud of yourself. I think that was the best I’ve ever seen you play. Honestly.”

Dimitri nodded as well, “I know...if we had just beaten Gryffindor, we might’ve been able to get there together. We just came so bloody close the last two games. And We’ve played three weekends consecutively. We never got a break. And perhaps that’s what made our luck run out.” the Slytherin shrugged before smiling halfway, “Really?” he gave a breathless chuckle, “I did fly upside down when Cade ran into me.”

This seemed to be a bit of déjà-vu. But instead of hesitating at all, Briony ran right up to him and wrapped her arms around him. “Dimitri, stop. Stop it, please. You were amazing, your team was amazing.”

Dimitri blinked at arms wrapping around him. In his anger, the surprise completely cut it off, looking to see who it was. Finding Briony, he gulped, hugging her back but staying silent.

She laughed in spite of herself, taking a calming breath. “I guess it’s too bad I put Cade in the Hospital Wing.” She grinned. “Oh, I wouldn’t do that to you, love. Once I lured her into my bed, I’m afraid she might try and leave you for me, and that would just make things far too complicated.”

Dimitri snickered a bit, “I’m sure there are other things that you can do with him. Either that or find yourself an older year for the Hell of it.” the Slytherin boy teased before laughing heartily, “Somehow I can believe that!”

If you’re going to do something stupid, I might as well do it, too.” She mostly meant the statement, but part of her hoped it would get him to stop breaking rules. Or things, in general. His next words caused a frown to cross her expression and she pulled him in closer. “If that’s the choice you make, I’d support you… But I’d also miss you.”

Dimitri took the hint - taking one last, large inhale before putting out the spliff, “That’s kind of my deal though. Being reckless, doing something stupid, and waiting for the girl to save me,” he winked. Bring pulled closer, Dimitri ran his hands up and down her back gently in a comforting manner, “I love you, Alexis. I just...with everything going on...it’s hard for me to see what’s right or what’s wrong anymore.”

Dimitri heard a voice and blinked; stopping what he was doing. Panting, he saw that it was Colt and sighed. The Slytherin was merely upset because they had lost - not necessarily whom they were beaten by. If anything, Dimitri was glad it was them, making one Hell of a comeback. Catching his breath, Dimitri nodded, putting his hand out for Colt to shake it, “Hell of a comeback, mate.”

She handed it back, exhaling as she looked up at him. “But if it’s not worth it, there’s no chance to prove you can take it all the way.”

With her arms wrapping around Dimitri’s waist, Dimitri visibly relaxed. Watching Alexis take a hit, the Slytherin arched a brow, “Since when do you smoke?” he teased with a playful smirk. Taking another hit, he let out the smoke to the side and shrugged, “I just don’t know.” Dimitri wrapped his arms around her, “Sometimes I think about leaving here and going to Durmstrang or something.”
