Yootipweek18 Questionnaire: Question #1 & #2
Disclaimer: The following long answer is from a true yootipper who is eager to participate in YooTip Week 2018 even tho she has zero talent in art 🤣.
So i decided to focus my questionnaire post on question no.1 and no.2. I totally suck at drawing *can't draw a straight line even with the help of a ruler*, have a very very basic skill on editing, and too lazy to think of fanfiction idea *this is why i didn't pursue my dream as a novelist 😂*
Okay, now the question #1; is yootip my first ily ship? I'll never get tired of saying this, that Kousuke Hirahara and Shin Ae Yoo are my OTP from the beginning since the first time i saw the launched banner. Tbh, kou's contrasting physical traits (blue eyes and black hair) has drawn me to read the comic, i didn't even give a damn about shin *before i read the prologue ofc*. I always have a soft spot for male characters with blue eyes and black hair and that helped me seal the deal 😂. I was like "Oh i'll ship the black-haired dude with the female lead!" when i saw the banner, proceeded reading the comic up until episode 3 only to find out the said black-haired dude was still in the shadow 😔*.
ILY begins with a typical shoujo cliche that makes you think "oh the redhead is most likely the endgame". I thought the same and even after knowing nol has a gf, it didn't matter cuz they could breakup later. That outdoor cafe scene didn't change anything either, i still thought stalkyoo was the endgame. *PS: I pitied shin when i saw how nol vented his frustration to the punching bag because of alyssa 😂* Regardless of that stance, i remained loyal to my yootip ship. Well, actually I saw the possibility from the outdoor cafe scene but it still didn't surpass my stalkyoo mind. See how loyal i am??? All thanks to my soft spot for characters like Kousuke 😎.

Next, what made me ship yootip? Kousuke Hirahara is the main reason as you guys can read here lol, but i started to ship them real hard when they go on a fake date at sunbucks with matching outfits 😂.
Their interaction is a gem and i personally like their bickering here. However, what made me take my ship seriously is when kousuke, in his own ways, helps shin to deal with the rude mother and daughter at the mall. He provided her with the opportunity to turn the table when she can't do it alone. He realizes her problem early on, on top of that he acknowledges her independence by accepting the money and buying what he thought she needed *new t-shirt with her style and socioeconomic in mind and a huge box of cotton swabs 🤣* with her own money too.
Even though he reports the mother and the daughter to the security mall, he still includes shin to make the final decision. This is deep, guys! At least in my very humble opinion. That's when i shipped yootip real hard and let go of my stalkyoo mind in the process. Although their personalities are contrasting, they can be perfect for each other and help broaden their world. It's not only kou that will help shin steps out of her comfort zone, but also shin to kou.
Phew....what a long answer for such simple questions, but what can i say? I'm a passionate shipper like that! 😂. I'm glad i can celebrate in this very first yootip event through this questionnaire. All my thanks go to the amazing Yootip Amino leaders who came up with this idea. They are very thoughtful and...did i say amazing? Yes they are amazing!! Happy to be a part of the family with them as the leaders 🤧🤧🤧🤧
