I've been slowly chipping away at the Avian August challenge in my private time! So far I'm keeping pace - here's a selection of some of my favourites I've done from the first 13 days! I intend to compile all 31 images into a digital zine once the challenge is over, so STAY TUNED! it's been fun to spend more time on bird drawings beyond quicker commissions and to challenge myself by not drawing them all floating in middair lol.

one time i was making potato soup and i needed broth for it but i was out of broth. but in my dog food cabinet there was a carton of chicken broth that i had bought for my dog. now the box did say HUMAN GRADE and the ingredients were just bog standard chicken broth. it did say something about joint health for dogs on there. but the ingredients were normal. i even compared the ingredients list to some normal person broth and they were the same. so i did put dog broth in that soup and it did taste completely normal. but i did use the dog broth.

this guide is for TFL bus stops specifically, however. TFL use JCDecaux poster holders. check the bus stop, if it has JCDecaux at the top, this method will very likely work so dont worry if you're not in london, because advertising is a monopoly.

if you dont have this kind of bus stop advertisement, never fear! i recommend wheatpaste 😊
