zeo is the first time that tommy starts working for me as a leader. when he was a white ranger rangers kept asking him what to do and he was like, idk  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ in zeo, he’s often the first one to initiate action, the first one to throw ideas. billy went invisible for two (2) seconds and tommy immediately was like, alpha we need to scan for billy’s location, pronto. he also compliments his teammates now on a job well done so that’s nice. meanwhile, as a white ranger i often felt like he was just some dude that happened to stand in the front

tommy really is “the sixth ranger” at heart, but they kept pushing him to the front bc of his popularity and it took them like one and a half seasons to figure out how to write him as a leader when it came naturally to jason and i’d argue in later seasons, billy
