Submission Guidelines

Who can submit a classified/personal?

any disabled person looking for community, friendship, intimacy, connections, collaborators, etc!

able bodied people looking for disabled collaborators, connections, etc.

Feel free to send us an ask if you are wondering if you can submit a personal.

Boundaries

This blog is currently run by one disabled person. Please be understanding of my time/energy limitations, and do not use the inbox for trauma dumping.

Please begin any messages/submissions with sensitive content with "TW" (trigger warning) or "CW" (content warning). Thank you!

Submit your classified/personal using the "submit" button. Please include:

a brief title

the body of your post with whatever personal information you are comfortable sharing and what kind of connection you are looking for

your tumblr username

here's my discord server for disabled people who have caregivers, whether family or friends or partners or paid staff or in an institution.

please reblog this. disabled people with caregivers desperately need a space to talk about navigating these complicated and often fraught relationships. there's infinite spaces for caregivers to talk about their experiences with each other. and that's good, they need that. and so do we.

this is a public server in the sense that any disabled person with caregivers can join. but there will be a degree of privacy because people won't be able to see all the channels until they are manually approved. also, i will try and implement something I've seen in another server, which is the ability to post anonymously.

Neurodivergent 19X looking for friend to play Pokemon w/

Hi, I am ADHD and potentially autistic (undiagnosed but told by multiple psychologists I might be autistic. My neuropsych evaluator told me I had “autistic tendencies” but withheld a diagnosis). I have a special interest in Pokemon and no friends who share the same level of interest as me. I’d like someone I can discuss modern Pokemon games with (anything for the Switch, as I don’t own other Nintendo consoles) and you are welcome to talk about previous gens with me as well, I know a fair amount about past games I just have not played them. Also would love to trade with you. I own both versions of every mainline Switch game except I do not own Pokemon Violet. If you have games you are missing dex entries on I am happy to help fill them.

i’m nix (they/any), i’m 26, and i currently live in new mexico. i’m looking for mutuals (both on tumblr and on other sites) as well as  community and/or friends. here is some more info about me.

i am a university student (on and off due to my disabilities), and i major in psychology and women’s/gender studies. i also started streaming a little over a year ago, which i’ve been doing on and off, too. some of my interests include psychology, video games, streaming, writing, alt fashion, reading (manga, fiction, nonfiction), and music.

oh, and here are some of the main things i’ve been diagnosed with: narcolepsy (which might be a misdiagnosis. it’s a long story.), MCAS, POTS, h-EDS, tethered cord syndrome, neurogenic bladder, severe MDD with psychotic features, GAD, social anxiety disorder, CPTSD, BPD, and signs of other stuff. atlantoaxial Instability was also a pretty big deal for me, but i was luckily able to get surgery for that.

Looking for Friends or Intimacy (or friends AND intimacy! even better!)

Hi, I’m Voxy. I’m a pansexual/grey-ace 42 year old married polyamorous cutie pie looking for friends or more. I have spinal stenosis and arthritis which causes excruciating sciatica and extreme pain on standing/walking. I am severely cardiovascularly de-conditioned but I am working on improving my cardiovascular functioning because that’s important for my health. I also have fibromyalgia, bipolar disorder (type II, well controlled on my current medication cocktail) and ADHD. And I am F A T.

I like movie nights at home, beach days if I can find a beach with a mobi-mat or other accessibility aid, crafting meetups, coffee dates and more! I read a lot! I cannot use weed due to my medications and being mandatorially drug tested to be able to stay on them, but I am 420 friendly! I work full time from home (in a sit-down job) so it’s hard for me to find time to make friends and other connections. But I am happy with online friends/long distance connections as well as local.

I live in West Michigan on the lakeshore and can drive. I’ll happily be friends with any age group but am only looking for romantic-type connections with those 30+
