The blast from the past
It’s funny how men remember you when they are single! Especially late at night after a few alcoholic beverages. The last time I spoke to this guy was 10th August 2013 so what makes him think of me now I wonder.
The snap chatter
You know a guy is bad news when the only way he communicates with you is via snapchat. And only communicates during working hours. Clearly he is not single and wants no trace of any conversation. Are there any loyal men left in the world?? I'm beginning to lose faith!
The unwanted attention
Last night I received an unwanted message from a man old enough to be my grandfather. It contained three words - You are gorgeous. Today I learned he is married. Why do some men think this behaviour is acceptable? What did he expect me to do when I received this message? Say Thank you? Best it stays in the message request folder I think.
The work colleague
It's always awkward and never fun to fancy a colleague especially when he's not single. Why can't I get him out of my head?! Its his voice, its so deep and masculine, I really can't get enough of it to be honest!! He also has the prettiest eyes. The song I"m currently listening to sums up this situation - Wasted Love!!
The dating app match
So I matched with a guy who looked normal, acted normal and on paper looked a pretty decent guy. The app kept crashing so in order to keep the conversation going I sent him my number. The conversation flowed for a little longer and he then sent me 15 photos of himself. I didn't reply straight away so he then messaged to ask my opinion on each photo. I went through each photo and realised one was of a completely different person. Weird!! The rogue photo was apparently his brother which he sent by mistake but this led to me receiving more photos of himself and more questions about which was my favourite. This had to be the weirdest person I have ever matched with and he had a very high opinion of himself. Disappointed Emily.
Cliffhanger
I once went on a second date with a Royal Marine. We were parked at the edge of a carpark overlooking the beach below, I was having handbrake issues at the time so I had to place my car into first gear instead of pulling the handbrake up. We were in the depths of conversations about his recent appearance on a TV series, this much talking led to the whole car to be quite steamed up. I had the great idea of opening a window but in order to do that I had to switch the ignition on while forgetting my car was still in first gear. The car leaped over the cliff edge and started hurtling towards the beach below. So our second date included me, my date, 3 police cars, a first responder, ambulance, a tow truck and eventually my brother to give us a lift home while my car got towed away. Disappointed Emily
The football fan
How to come between a man and his football, well in my experience you can't. There's a guy I have been interested in for quite some time, more lust interested if I'm honest but still interested. I should point out that he apparently is interested in me too. I text him some excitable message about meeting up and he replied with a photo of the TV screen that was showing football, well that shut me up. Disappointed Emily.
The manager and the micropenis
I once met a tall, very good-looking manager. I blushed when he looked at me because I found him so beautiful. After much flirting over many weeks we ended up in the bedroom, I was so ready for this. I was not expecting what I found beneath the layers of clothing and I have not come across the particular phenomenon before or since - a micropenis!!
I tried my best to work with it but it proved difficult, foreplay was successful sort of and now for the finale...
Unfortunately during the act it kept falling out so I just got dressed and I had to leave. We haven't spoken since because I suppose the embarrassment was too much. Disappointed Emily!!
