i’m sorry, but stop excusing plot holes and bad writing by saying things like “oh they noticed off screen”, or “he realised in that moment”, or “they broke up in that scene” and then never mention it again or depict it in any way in the show.

you can’t come out and reveal all this information in random articles. it’s bad writing idc. it’s lazy. the only one i’ll excuse is the jancy breakup, but even still, if half the fandom is confused on whether it was an engagement or a breakup… 😬

Actually just broke down in tears right now about El's ending. We had an emotional speech between her and Hopper about her childhood being taken from her and how she deserves to live a happy life. She reunites with her sister this season just for her to be killed by the military and for her to sacrifice herself. Then, we just are left with an ambiguous ending whether she is alive or dead instead of actually giving closure to her character?
