i read bolla by pajtim statovci a couple months ago and now im reading my cat yugoslavia, although i feel like i should have went with his other novel, crossing. anyways whatever.

upcoming novels im excited for is the ciw gives burth at night by pajtim, and also pioneer winter, but ill have to wait till next year fall/winter to read them, as theyre both in the process of being translated to english currently.

anywaym i love pajtim, hes inspired me to take up wiritng again, especially more personal writing, focusing on transculturation. i even ended up writing my short story about a kosovan war refugee in the midwest, which i want to expand further into a full novel.

after visiting some family in rural ohio, this inspired me to write even more, as the stark contrast between their enviorment and their own background was not only something i related to, but aso something i'd like to explore more in writing.

some other things im reading right now is other voices, other rooms, which im also kind of using as inspiration as tit includes some mysticism, taking after pajtims writing, as well as americana aspect and the MC, joels, identity.

Ahhhh this took so long. 60 hours!!!!!!! But I did it, I drew my horror gays. This manga was truly meant for me and I'm so so so happy that the anime was just as good! I'm also glad to see our little fandom grow awww. This manga just means so much to me //sob
