This is officially my most current Magnum Opus.
It turns out all the theory i know isn't useless, i just need to slow down more and do things more calmly. I'm in love with this piece.

I think about it daily, and while i considered Shiro and Jotaro both alphas, i had some interesting discussions and AU making with some oomfs!
Or, alternatively: some HCs Shiro as a dominant Omega and how Jotaro deals with it. (Press read more to read it fully)

Okay, so, i always referred to Shiro in my omegaverse AU as a dominant alpha for obvious (and stereotypical? i admit it) reasons.
He's tall, strong, bold, explosive... I can't even remember how the hell i got to "what if Shiro is actually an omega?"
But what made me really change his dynamic was thinking of him getting frustrated when he received the results of his blood test. And maybe the fact that a really big buff omega is appealing, the tradjoshi in me died a little.
“....Open yours first.” Shiro urged, or rather, ordered, Jotaro to reveal the truth all at once, offering a fleeting sense of comfort in the face of the mysteries of his own nature.
It was the day the blood test results were due at Tokyo High. Jotaro didn’t have much room to argue, after all, that was how their relationship worked, and Kujo had been used to his best friend’s ways for many years now.
Without much ceremony, Jotaro tore open the envelope and scanned the briefly comprehensible text in search of the information that really mattered to him.
“Alpha,” he announced, lowering the tip of his cap. It was already obvious, though, even so, Jotaro felt a certain anxiety about undisclosed dynamics, considering how unpredictable they could turn out to be. “You?”
Shiro wasn’t surprised. Nor was he relieved. Maybe a little relieved, since he’d always liked sharing his feelings with his best friend, but in this case? It was hard to focus on anything else.
On one hand, Shiro had always imagined himself to be an alpha. He’s strong, tall, handsome, temperamental (super grumpy)… All the traits expected of the top of the “food chain.” Biologically speaking? His father is an omega, his mother… Shiro never asked, which contributed to that feeling of anguish that had always quietly haunted him.
“Just open it already, damn it.” Jotaro urged him brusquely, pushing Shiro’s shoulder so he’d stop stalling and end this agony.
“Okay, okay!” Shiro grumbled, tearing open his own envelope and scanning it. His pulse was racing, his body eager to make itself known to his mind.

'This', the whole being an omega thing, was never what Shiro had imagined for himself… Or maybe it was?
Somewhere deep in his soul, Shiro harbored an unconscious hope that maybe, just maybe, he would be an omega… And then people wouldn’t find it strange or funny that his heart belongs entirely to his alpha best friend.
Such an innocent yet visceral desire. It made him nauseous.
“No,” Jotaro replied, simply and briefly. He had never been able to cover up the truth with pretty words or excuses, let alone when his nose had picked up a slight, sudden, and raw change in the scent his best friend carried: insecurity. “Why would it change?”

I've decided that tumblr is the best place for me to ramble about Shiro's lore again so here we go. I didn't get to post his newest haircut here yet but i'll yap a bit.

Shiro always valued Jotaro's opinion on him a lot, even when the rest of the world's were merely background noise to him.
Once when they were younger, Shiro ended up too lazy to get a haircut and it grew up too much, that's when Jotaro suggested that he should let it grow longer. That's how shiro got to his iconic haircut.
Skipping ahead to the end of SDC, more or less 3 years late... Long story short, Jotaro accidentally knocked up a girl from the college.
Shiro was suddenly being cast aside by the one and only person that was and still is his whole world. It hurt, yes but he hoped things would get better eventually!
Everything got real to Shiro only when Jotaro got married and they lost contact with each other. It was when Shiro decided he no longer would keep his hair longer. (focusing on his hair, i'll make another post regarding Shiro attending to Jotaro's wedding)
In fact, this was a drunken decision he made when his heart was aching especially bad at a random drinking night.
You can even notice he didnt slit his eyebrow anymore. He's such a loser heartbroken... Poor shiro.
His family and friends definitely made fun of him for looking so fluffy really suddenly but they support him anyway.
That's pretty much it for his hair floof lore. I'm still rusty and everything is kind of confusing because i'm just rambling. Thank you for reading it until here ^^
