i've broken in the leather boots i bought two years ago. they perfectly hug the contours of my very odd feet. it's a strangely intimate feeling. i forced myself into you and not only did you conform to my presence but you're better shoes for it. for me at least. and that's all you need. it leads me to reflect- who am i a good pair of shoes for? how many people can trust me to carry them? i envy the simple, plain purpose of a good boot. at least the shoe knows what size it is.
