Without saying a word, Mocha grabs Millie’s hand, leading her into the living room, and then into a small alcove hidden behind the back cave wall of the kitchen.

In the alcove, sits a lone, blue, glow-in-the-dark star covered door.

With a flourish, Mocha goes into a dramatic half-bow, hand outstretched towards the door and smile bright and mischievous. “After you~”

”Ahhh, so this is what that tarp was covering, I had been wondering about that! Now, let me just…”

The door opens, and inside is a room that you can tell was carved into the cave with care and precision. On the stone walls are paintings of various quality, clearly done by three different people. The paintings vary, from galaxies and constellations, to small animals, to a large stickman family. Each one was clearly made with love.

Decorating the room are comfy looking beanbags, a futon covered in soft blankets and pillows, shelves full of astrology books, and a large rug with the planets in our solar system covering it.

On the far wall there’s a good sized platform that’s been carved out, right next to a ‘window’ like opening. It has a comfortable looking purple cushion.

Right in front of the cushion, placed with care and pointing towards the sky through the opening in the wall, sits a gorgeous blue and silver telescope, Millie Black engraved on the metal around the lens.

Millie is speechless as she looks around the room. It looks like she may burst into tears at any moment.

“This is…so wonderful. I…I can’t believe you did all this…”

Mocha comes up behind her, hugging her waist and burying his head in her hair, laying a kiss to the crown of her head.

He chuckles,

“I take it that means you like it, lovely?”

Mocha turns and gestures towards the door with a smile, and out come the boys.

Atlas is smiling softly, a tray of food balanced carefully in his hands as he carefully watches every step. His wings flare out slightly, attempting to right his balance.

Beside him, Junior follows closely, a small gift bag in his hands.

Atlas reaches the bed, and every so carefully places the tray of food onto Millie’s lap. Mocha grins and ruffles his hair.

“The boys and I made you breakfast! Junior wanted to make some blueberry pancakes so that’s all him, but Atlas wanted them to be star shaped heh. And iii~ got you some Coffee!” They brightly gesture to the bedside table, where a steaming mug of fresh coffee sits.

“You’ll find that the boys did an excellent job on those pancakes, I taste tested them myself via the dad tax don’t worry, and I crisped up the bacon to perfection! And the eggs are great as well if I don’t say so myself!”

Mocha hums happily, then gestures towards Junior who gladly hands them the giftbag he’s holding. “When you’re done eating, there’s a little something in here for you, okay? Mocha leans in and gives another quick kiss to Millie’s cheek before stepping away from the bed.

“I’ll watch the boys today, you just focus on having fun.” Then, she reaches up to tap her forehead twice with a wink and a soft smile “the peanut gallery are wishing ya’ happy birthday too”

With that, they gently herd the boys into the living room to give Millie space to enjoy her breakfast in peace
