✎ - - - Haruka may as well have an extra power because it’s almost like he can sense when people around him are eating. He’s like a little puppy around a meal table when people are eating which means it isn’t really that surprising when he comes across Kano eating. It’s not like he means for these things to happen, it’s all pure coincidence, but it’s funny how frequently these things happen.
✎ - - - “Kano, hello! How are you?” Despite sounding really interested in how he was doing, Haruka’s eyes are fixed on the food rather than the person he was talking to.
With the hideout relatively empty today, Kano was about to take advantage on some personal time. Namely, Seto not stealing his macaroni and cheese for once. His brother would always complain to Kido about the blond not sharing his food. For once, the whole bowl was his and his alone.
So he thought. “Hey, I thought you were out,” Kano admitted, pouring the contents of the pot into a bowl for himself. “I’m fine. Just about to eat. You?” It never occurred to the boy of the threat that was lurking in plain sight.
