Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel Superheroes

Well after having half of Friday and pretty much all of the weekend to play on Disney Infinity I can safely say that I really enjoyed it! However there is something about 2.0 that makes it feel like a totally different game but in other ways it seems like an add on to the first. There seems to have been so many things changed behind the scenes and I must say that I'm not sure about all of the changes! I'll probably post about my likes/ dislikes about these later on. Word of warning though... building has changed! The controls are different and I am always doing the wrong thing! They might be better for some but after playing on DI 1 for a year and a few days I'm better with the old controls! I am enjoying the game (even though I'm having a few technical issues with the figures) it's worth the buy!

How To Store? Disney Infinity 1 had 3 power disc albums (one been the Toys R Us Exclusive) but no album for the third wave. The power discs for Disney Infinity 2.0 will also have album that is exclusive to Toys R Us but will only hold 21 power discs! (Out of the 40) so while it could look nicer I believe the more practical solution would be the portfolio for the Discs or a Capsule. While these won’t show pictures of discs I would imagine Disney to have the order of the Discs on their site (Just like they did for all three waves). I’ll put pictures of the 2.0 Power Disc album, portfolio and a picture of the capsule with Marvel characters on the side (first I have seen of this). While I do really like the Power Disc album I don’t see any point in having it if it won’t store all of the wave one discs. I think I might get the Portfolio when I have complete the wave one discs or have quite a lot, However I do like the capsule design! What about you? What do you like better and which way do you prefer to store your discs?

Was Marvel the right Move?

So ever since Disney Infinity 2.0 was announced with all the Marvel Superheroes I have seen many people saying how it’s DISNEY Infinity and should only be Disney and others who welcome Marvel into the world of Disney Infinity, so I wanted to give my view on this. First off I’m not really a big marvel fan in fact Spider-man is the only Marvel character I really like but having a MASSIVE marvel fan as a friend meant that I was excited that the game would feature things we both enjoyed. Now when I saw Spider-man and all of his moves I could not wait to get him and every time I watch more videos on DI2 I want it more and more. The avengers is my friend and sisters favorite film really so they are both looking forward to that and I would say out of all of the figures for Avengers, Black Window will be my favorite. The Guardians of the galaxy is a film that I want to see (I was away when it was in cinemas) and looks good out of these figures I would pick Star lord and Gamora (both of which come in the pack, lucky me). I love all of the Disney originals characters and like the look of the Big Hero 6 film. I don’t mind that Disney figures won’t have their own play sets because with SO much to do in the Toy Box chances are you’ll be playing in there more than the play sets. The play sets are bigger and look action packed which is why I think there is only Marvel sets (because some Disney films aren't that action packed) and I’m fine with that I think the only down side I think is that there may not be that many toys for a Disney Figures film (unlike in a play set) that been said look at Wreck it Ralphs toy chests (The Nicelanders building, sky, terrain, wrecking truck, weapon ect) it’s really a wait and see but overall I am happy to see Disney Infinity expanding into the Marvel universe (even though I’m not a huge marvel fan) so what does everyone else think? Do you agree and feel like the Marvel universe will make Disney Infinity better?

Two Thrilling Days To Go until Disney Infinity 2.0 is out in the UK!

So it appears GAME has gotten Disney Infinity 2.0 a few days earlier and they have decided to show them to us but we can't have them...Why?!!! I went in store today to find everything from wave 1 there behind the counter! 2 or 3 boxes of discs, starter packs, both play sets, all the figures right there! !! It's so close but so far! NOTE: the photo is not mine but I put it on so you can see what it looks like in store

I know that there are still a lot of people unsure about what Disney Infinity 2.0 can use and so on, so above is a guide to show what can and can't be used within the two games. I'll just give a quick breakdown here though: Disney Infinity 2.0 can use all the 2.0 sets, figures and discs as well as the first Disney Infinity figures and discs NOT the play sets! (Only thing that won't cross over!) Disney Infinity 1 can't use anything from DI 2.0! On a quick separate note the two bases are the same (in DI 1 & DI 2.0) you can continue to use your old base with the new game and have a spare one (really when you total up the game, figures, discs and play set, the base isn't that much!) So I hope that and the guide above will help people with any questions about what can and can't be used!

Three Toy Filled Days To Go until Disney Infinity 2.0 is out in the UK!

Here is a list of the full set (again, 40 to collect) of the Disney originals discs that will be available for Disney Infinity 2.0! It's nice to see that Disney haven't forgotten about the first figures (there's a Jack Sparrow, Mr. Incredible and Jack Skelton costumes!)

Four Fast Days To Go until Disney Infinity 2.0 is out in the UK!

The Falcon flys on to Disney Infinity 2.0 edition! He's the second figure (out of 4) to be reveled. I had hoped for another Spiderman figure (making 7 figures for each play set) but my friend is a falcon fan and he was good in the new captain America film. The next two are said to be Disney Originals, I've heard one might be a girl but we won't know until it's confirmed! The Falcon will be playable in the toy box and avengers play set.

1 Year Anniversary!

So today, the 14th of September marks the 1 year anniversary of when I bought Disney Infinity! Now on today I have used all 29 figures and unlocked the 'secret' item. And I'm still not done I have all the crystal figures left to use and one last achievement to get! I'm not a slow player I just wanted to take my time and play with everyone, unlock everything and enjoy playing it! And I've played it constant, pretty much every time I put on a new figure or playset its like the game is new with an adventure, weapons and more toys to use!!! My Disney Infinity 1 a year old today and still not fully finished! More to enjoy!
