Goodbye, So Long is the first single from my third and forthcoming new album, simply titled, III. I grew up on old Black Sabbath and continue to be inspired by those heavy guitars propelled by drums that swing like mad.
This track was recorded using my P-90 equipped Gibson SG, into a Roger Mayer Axis fuzz I picked up in the early 90's, which is in an alternate tuning and layered multiple times, going through my beloved Marshall JCM800 I bought in '82.
Led Zeppelin, Houses Of The Holy, 1973. Gatefold sleeve designed by Aubrey Powell. Photographs were taken at the Giant's Causeway, Northern Ireland. ©pic Hipgnosis

I took this picture of Mike's backline after a show in Chicago, a few years back.
The last great power trio.
I've always liked bad girls. The first time I saw AM perform with Dead Weather, I had an instant crush on her.

Boss DM-2 Delay;
ModTone MT-AD Vintage Analog Delay
I like delay pedals, both analog and digital. I tend to cycle through them a lot! <rim shot>
My 1973 Maestro EP-3, 2000 Fender strat, and a small box 18 watter I built myself. I was told the EP used to belong to the Animals as part of their American backline. Their lots of fun, and nothing else sounds like them. I'll try and make a video and post it.
Psychedelic heaven. My 59 pink paisley tele reissue and fuzz box from Wren and Cuff. Channeling plenty of Syd Barrett and David Gilmore this friday.
One of my favourite lyricists/singers.
Jimi Hendrix (1942-1970) - my favorite non-linear guitarist
💚
The first time I heard Hendrix, everything changed.
80's Depeche Mode classic re-imagined with squealing, fuzzy guitar goodness.
My 91 Les Paul and 72 Fender Champ. When I found the Champ about 10 years ago, it was barely used, unmodified, with original tubes. It had belonged to the grandfather of the girl selling it, and I promised to give it a good home. When I got it, the sound was a little dull and flat. I replaced the tubes and voila, it was crispy, punchy, and touch sensitive.
