Its really nice and incredibly sweet w a bit of angst, basically just a story where Bai he breaks into Macaques home and Macaque decides to take care of her while he figures out what to do w her (he denies wanting to keep her w him) and the story progresses to how he goes through getting a new home and adopts Bai He.

Also the mayor pops in somewhere there i think theres a bit of shadowpupper(or whatever the ship name is) is hinted, also seems like the author will make a continuation w other works since its saved in a series so yk cant wait for that!

Oh my god LOVEEE this fic the writing is so well done and the characterization to me seems pretty great dude i def recommend this one its got the perfect amount of angst and soft little moments between Mac and Bai he.

Story focuses on how Bai He is dealing w the aftermath of LBDS defeat, bringing out how those around her who once adored her changed to fear her, how she struggles to getting used to it and hating how its become her new normal. Macaque sneaks into pigsys noodles one day when bai he was there alone and they begin to chat. Thats where their friendship begins and they began to talk more often. Really sweet w a big hit on angst near the end but dw everything gets resolved to a happy ending 😋😋

Ok not solely centric on them but its still has them + Wukong and MK and i really like this one too

Fic has the general gist of the movie Parent trap (if it wasn’t obvious w the title lmao).

Basically Wukong and Mac divorced and Wukong kept MK while Macaque keeps Bai He. MK and Bai he meet during camp and realize they’re parents were together once and make a plan to set them up back together. Except Azure Lion is here as Wukong BF and makes things difficult. Lots of drama really fun 😋😋

I’ve been reading one too many fics involving these two and have noticed just how LACKING we are on Bai He and Macaque content 😭😭

so I just had to draw them IDC that they only had one scene together Macaque comes over to visit her every once in a while TRUST 🙏🙏
