#96. Evil Brain from Outer Space (1964)
This Japanese science fiction film was an edited down version of the final three short films in the Super Giant series that was filmed in 1958. The film stars Ken Utsui and features the superhero Star-man. The plot sees Star-man travel to Earth to stop the brain of the greatest evil mastermind in the universe from taking over the Earth. Can star-man stop them or will Earth fall to the evil brain? How do you take three different short films and combine them together to get a great movie? You don’t, you get this movie that sinks in quality the longer the film goes. The dubbing is typical for Japanese films and the fighting in the film is very repetitive and becomes dull by the end. The best part of the film is the character design of the human villains, but besides that, you have a typical Japanese sci-fi film. The only reason to watch this movie is because of the bad guy’s character designs and nothing else.
4.5/10
Yep... That’s the ONE achievement he must be the most proud of. Being on a show about cars.
