He let her go and gave her a small smile. She doesn’t look that angry now and that’s good. He walked to his room, kicking the body away which was blocking the entrance. “You wanna come in?”
[Frowning slightly to his treatment to the body of the man, she followed him. ] You mind if I use your bathroom?[ She walked to the adjacent bathroom, wanting to clean her hands off the blood.]
"No. I meant I’m sorry for upsetting you." he said, looking blankly back at her. Without a word, he wrapped Karla in a hug. "Hugs are supposed to make things better, right? That’s what they told me … "
[ His hug was mechanical, like something he was imitating what he saw. A sigh escaped her lips, and she hugged him more gently, careful with her bloddy hands.] I apprecite it Ada.
He gave the dying man a small wave of farewell when he finally died. Standing up, he stretched himself and reached a hand for Karla to help her up. “I’m sorry … “
[ It was rude of her, but she didn't took his hand as she rise herself. Taking a deep breath, she looked to Adam in the eyes.] No, you aren't
He was about to speak when he saw the man convulse again, shaking uncontrollably at the too much loss of blood. He knew helping him would be hopeless and keeping him alive was impossible. His lips curled into a small smirk and chuckled. "It happens . . . "
No...[She whispered worried,but the message was clear. This man was meant to die, the soft humming of death all around him. Helplessly, she flood him with a sensation of peace, as he died.]
Still confused, he twists and brandishes his glass knife as he stared down the man. “Killing is not wrong if you have a reason … ” he said flatly. He raised the glass knife and down to the man’s chest. “That’s hopeless, Foodgiver. He’ll die anyway.”
[One he hand reached for the glass knife, tightly taking the sharp edge with her hand as the other stay on the man's chest. ] Killing is wrong, taking a life is always wrong, no matter what the reason is. [with a simple movement of her wrist, she shatters the glass in small pieces, ignoring the long cut in the palm of her hand.]
"Why?" he asked, looking at Karla with a confused look on his eyes. He crouched down beside the man and moved his face so they’re face to face. Adam stared deeply in his eyes. "Father said this was the ultimate thrill … "
Because killing is wrong![ She didn't meant to raise her voice, but the man's life was slowly draining out of him. Without further ado, she pressed her hand gently over his wounds, letting her power mend the flesh and stop the blood.]
"I didn’t do it." he said, looking at the man who was still choking on his own blood on the floor. He was holding a bloody, jagged piece of glass and was staring at him blankly.
[ She ran to the man in the ground, checking on his injuries, her lips pressed together tightly as she realize the damage.] Adam, I need to get me some towels.
"Oh, sure… but something like that takes more than the wave of a hand. It takes time, Karla. Time which you probably don’t have. After all, how long does the basement remain empty? You’re lucky you had enough time to dispose of all the tools… do you really think that luck will last long enough for you to cover your tracks? I don’t."
"Besides… even if you did manage to do that, who’s to say I wouldn’t just… plant some evidence? It’s boring here, you know. Maybe watching a hoard of demons rip you apart will make me feel better.”
I appreciate you concern, but I assure there nothing for me to be worried about it.
Or maybe smiting this horde of demons would make me feel better.

I'm not as reckless as you are assuming. I know how to erase my scent as you called. And it's not like you are that worried about me.
"I’m sure some patients will be grateful… the demons, on the other hand… I don’t think they’ll be very happy."

[Blushing softly, she laced her finger wit him, walking to the kitchen with her.] I made them myself, so they maybe not as good.
