WISHFUL COLLABS (IDOL DANCERS)

Since I'm on a dance rant right now, I've been thinking about this a lot since I've realized that a lot of my biases are main dancers. SO I would love it if my faves would collab based on age, style, etc. and so I've made a list. Lol. FIRST, just a list of my main biases (only the dancers): Lee Seunghoon, Hoshi, Ten, Eunhyuk, Lay, Rocky, Moonbin, Q, Jiung, Intak, Kino, Chan, BIC, U AGEWISE: 2000s: BIC, Jiung, Intak, Kyungho, Jisung, Harry June 1996ers: Hoshi, Ten, Jason 1999ers: U, Dino, Rocky, Chan (TO1), Woojin 1998ers: Moonbin, Q, D1, Kino Sunbaenims: Seunghoon, Eunhyuk, Lay STYLEWISE, who I feel has a similar style or would collab well together: 1. Seunghoon x Hoshi x Ten (MY TOP 3) - if they ever do dance together, I would cry. lol. Choreography wise, they've all done Hip Hop well and have gone towards contemporary at times. They're all very versatile. I just love watching these three dance, never get bored. 2. U x Dino - I feel like they would work well together and would create something cool because of their similarities. I don't know what it is but they remind me of each other. 3. Seunghoon x Eunhyuk - Creativity-wise, they both look for entertainment when dancing and I feel like if they were to work on something together, it would be so creative and entertaining. 4. My 2000ers -- Jiung x Intak x Jisung x Harry June - These kids, so so so so talented. I can't even say anything because they're so talented but I just wish they would get together and just have a session together. They could learn so much from each other too and since they all have very similar styles. They don't even have to come up with a performance, I just want to see them get together and battle or something. Lol. (not in a competitive way, in a more friendly way haha) 5. Jisung x Woojin - Both poppers, very similar in style. I think that's all I can come up with for now. Hmmm. I think I just want them all to get together and have a big session or a VLIVE of dancers. Favorite Street Man Fighter Contestants

Here is my number one - ONF U (ofc, I might be a little biased because I've followed a lot of these dancers for a long time; and ofc, I didn't watch them all, I don't have time for that all so obviously I watched the one's I've followed and clicked random ones or saw random ones on my newsfeed)

Here's my explanation: I've seen a lot and a lot of the dancers do the same thing at the same time in the song. The song has certain areas one could pop and drop and freeze so ofc, a lot the dancers would do that there, if that makes sense. I feel like U had more variety in his routine. Like how he started grooving at 1:24 and 1:35. And his unexpected footwork at 1:17. Also, it's like he didn't stop at all while hitting every beat. And I also feel like his pops, instead of popping hard each time, I feel like they were more controlled (hard at some points, not as hard at others). But anyways, I hope he gets some recognition because his is one that stood out the most to me. Second - DKB HARRY JUNE

Explanation: I was excited to see Harry June because he is one of Gen 4's best dancer (imo). His freestyle is amazing. I think I was a little disappointed because I was expecting too much but it was still very good. He's good at using his space and making everything big. Footwork too. Good good. As expected of Harry June (: I would be excited to see him on the show, although he is very young and don't want him to be crushed by dancers because it's a scary world out there BUT if he does go on the show, he'd learn a lot. (still would be worried but excited for him too)

AGAIN, this is personal preference and what kind of dancing tends to stand out for me. Some people might not be as interested in footwork or grooviness and prefer more hard hitting poppers instead. It is all personal preference. You like what you like and I like what I like. Not trying to change anyone's open. Maybe just trying to open your mind to other opinions (: hehe.

Upcoming Street Man Fighter

Street Man Fighter is coming this summer, apparently. Since I enjoyed watching Street Women Fighter, I am especially excited to for this. Especially since I've been following a lot of the choreographers so I'm kind of hoping the ones I follow will be on the show. I also love watching battles because I feel like, apart from creating amazing choreography, it's different if someone is able to battle and dance on the spot to any song that comes up. It shows one's creativity and wit. I'm excited for that. Okay, here's where people might disagree. But anyways, I was a huge fan of HiTech Crew back then. Nowadays, I still appreciate some of Kwon Twins choreography but I feel like they're getting a little .. redundant and boring. Also, I feel like the feels to one song is just not there anymore. Don't hate me - ofc, I still like some of their stuff. I just feel it's not the same. Again, this is my personal preference. Maybe my personal preferences have changed, who knows. Anywho, I am also hoping to see Vata and Ingyoo, who dances with We Dem Boys. I'm glad they're getting more recognition because I've always loved their style. The way it looks more like they're just having fun. I like that kind of groovy, ... swag, I guess. I don't really know how to explain it but yes, I like their style. Before HiTech, I loved PREPIX. The originals at least. I haven't been following them in a long time but I like how the crew had every element and also gave me that old school vibe I liked (and they were amazing battlers). My faves were definitely Joony, Ill, Wassup, and let's not forget Yun and Sejin. I know a lot of them are much older now so I'm not even sure if they are going to be on the show but if they were, it would be so good. Their creativity is amazing. I remember when they did a video of them creating a choreography with a chair on the spot, amazing. Oh, and 5SSANG, I'm not sure if he's part of PREPIX or if he was one of the originals but I like his stuff too. And then of course, there's Just Jerk who I am almost positive will be on the show. Love JHO's choreography. Just something about it always makes me go "wow". (Female wise, love Eunkyung's choreography, she's so effortless) Other crews would probably be - BBTRIPPIN, FREEMIND, 1M, etc. Can't think of any others at the top of my head right now but possibly those. I also heard some idols will be joining which makes me a little worried, unless they've got a dance background that includes battling and freestyling. I'm just worried for them because outside the idol world, it's scary and people can be scary and ruthless when battling so it makes me worried. Another thing I've started to notice is that when a lot of idol groups choose the same choreographers, they all start looking the same .. basically, no one stands out as much anymore. SO, if I was a performance/creative director of a group, I would look for choreographers or dancers out there that have not been used yet, especially if they want to stand out. I'm not saying the big choreographer groups aren't good, it's just that a lot of moves are overused and so a lot of idols don't stand out. But it doesn't help that a lot of groups use the same concepts so can't really put it all on the choreographers. Back to SMF, I'm sure if you're reading this, you must know that a lot of dancers, choreographers, idols were posting and tagging themselves dancing to SMF one song right? Well, I'll post my faves in a separate post because there's a limit. Haha.

[Review] SEVENTEEN - Darl+ing

SEVENTEEN came back with an English single, Darl+ing. To be very honest, I was not sure how I was going to like it but surprisingly, it is pretty cute. The only KPOP group that I think successfully pulls off English songs is MONSTAX. (side note: I love their English Albums - those albums and songs need more hype) Anyways, initially, it didn't catch on as quickly but the more I listen to it, it gets better. I always try to listen to it without watching the video because honestly, I can't fully focus on the actual song when I watch the video because, let's be honest, those handsome faces could make anything mediocre amazing (lol). Not saying this is mediocre by the way. I actually really like this concept on them - the sweet boyfriend brighter concept. It's very sweet and cute. They all look amazing. The song itself, is also very cute. All in all, very cute and catchy.

What Is This?

hi. I am creating this space for me to talk about my own opinions about certain topics, comebacks, scandals, etc. I’ve come to a realization that my opinions may or may not be different from other fans (most of the time, kind of different). Maybe there are other people who think the same but just aren’t as vocal. Nevertheless, this is a space I created for me personally. I do not expect anyone to agree or disagree with what I have to say and most definitely hope no one gets hurt or takes it personally from what I have to say. A lot of these are opinions, just my personal opinions. (:

I want everyone to remember that you cannot force anyone to be a fan of certain groups. Everything is perspective and personal preferences. I’ll dive deeper into this later but let’s all be open-minded and remember nothing I post is a personal attack on anyone. Just thought I’d put that out there.
