» Background «
Vivienne was the accident, the child that was never suppose to be yet was created anyway. As a kid she felt invisible next to the twins, they were always bigger and better at things than she was. It was hard for her to keep up with them and she was often left behind. She was forced to teach herself and as a result she became self dependent. Her mother had always been distant with her something she took personally as a child. First came the self consciousness and then low self esteem. Her mother was not abusive nor negligent however, there was always a certain look in her eye whenever she looked at her daughter. Growing up was difficult for her, although she had always been the envy of her friends Vivienne could never see herself as being accepted by anyone. Eventually she began to not care or at least make people think she didn’t.
As a teen she grew tougher skin, she stopped feeling bad for herself and took advantage of what she had. Her magic became her focus and despite being behind by years she caught up to the twins and even began to exceed their skills. She found their ability to be distracted pathetic and continued to surpass them. The resentment towards her mother and her siblings only grew more intense as she got older, her father being the only one she chose to tolerate. Nobody has seemed to notice the power that she’s come to have and she almost prefers it that way now.
Vivienne disagreed with the decision to unveil the supernatural but of course she knew her parents would not stop because she said so. Despite magic being out she continues to keep her abilities to herself. The intimacy of doing magic in secret was something she refused to give up. Instead she has been lurking behind the chaos of it all. It wasn’t long until she discovered what her father was up to but out of love for him she’s kept it to herself. Vivienne has even begun to do some negotiating of her own. The thought of vampires and werewolves obeying her every word sits pretty in her mind.
» Personality «
PATIENT: Vivienne is extremely patient, nothing she does is rash or without thought. She is always willing to wait for an opportunity to come to her and never does anything without calculating thought.
CUNNING: She is by far the smartest child of the Roswell household. Vivienne knows how to get what she wants (aside from her mother’s affections). She will stop at almost nothing to achieve her goals even if that means gaining them through deceit.
SPITEFUL: When it comes to her siblings or her mother, Vivienne is not one of fond words. She loves them because she has to and is extremely resentful towards them.
BLUNT: Although patient, Vivienne isn’t one to waste time. Her words are not often graceful making it difficult for her not to offend a person she dislikes, not that she cares. When it comes to people she likes she finds it easier to be kinder.
